Thanks for the brief biography, I've heard of him many times in the past, mostly to with the Gedo showdown between Al-Itihad & Ethiopia. But I was never aware that he was anti-Biijo. Good to know that he doesn't support Biijo.

Cumar Xaaji Masale slapped Cabdulaahi Yuusuf? That is far-fetched. If you said Cabdulqaadir Xaaji Masale I might believe you. Cumar was a big fool and his weakness and lack of character is best illustrated by the fact that Siyaad added the younger brother and more more junior officer Cabdulqaadi Xaaji Masale to the SRC, the group of officer who mounted the coup of 1969.

For someone who aspires to archive the history of Sade, your knowledge of your tribe and its leading personalities is very sketchy.

His brother Cabdiqaadir was secretary-general of the SRC because he was an intellectual while Cumar was a pure military man whose heavy-handedness, micromanaging, and occasional temper were well known. Traits that served him real well in the civil war when people with those traits were much wanted and he rose to the occasion. Come again?
