This pisses me of, so much so that I wear Diracs to these such weddings. believe or not as somali women, I think we look our best in Diracs, and I has heard a lot of many somali men. The dirac is simply made product, which has a great outcome. From the tall skinnies to the short fatties, the Dirac fits them all.

I am I not right?.....if not explain.

Dirac's are okay for weddings if you want but...I wouldnt wear one to a reception...Dirac is more homey...



Dresses are easier to wear, and more appropriate for receptions.
I would wear it to a woman's party....but if there are men there i wouldn't..who wants to be tucking and pulling all night infront of a bunch of men?



It's not dhaqan biis, just preference.

Dirac is beautiful, but I have to disagree it does not suit everyone. No offence to the short sisters but you should avoid wearing dirac at all costs, if your short n fat you look like a sack of potatoes and if your short n skinny you look like you dressed up in your mums clothes.

aliyah...as a tall person I agree that diracs look better in Tall women, but I think a dirac would look so much better in a short fat girl that a dress would, shoo you dont need fat flopping out of a dress..thats just nasty, but in a dirac its secured.

I think and believe, that Dirac should be dressed only in Shaash Saar/Xeedho events...But when it is a wedding reception wear a dress my God! I don't like when they wear dirac in a big reception and everything is blink blink blink...In my family we respectfully ask for Dress Code when we have a Reception....

I know Dirac is for every size and it covers up Caloolaha, cududaha etc

And by the way the Dirac is more revealing than the dress...If we want to dress modestly..

I couldnt have said it better.

I luff diraac and will wear it to shaashaar or only women weddings. It should be a no no at wedding receptions. Either way, they both are aight with me.
