Well then, let his blood and that of his family be the first that is spilled, if he's so enthusiastic about it.
Revolutions are almost always bad. As Somalis, who have seen their country ripped apart in a revolution, I should not need to tell you that, should I?

Re: Malcolm X -- There is no such thing as a Bloodless Revolutio
Malcom X is the reason why the white man rushed to give the black man his civil rights. If the struggle was fought only by the likes of Martin Luther King, the white man would sit back and watch how they proceed with their endless ''non-violent'' peace marches.
But then a radical movement led by Malcom X came on the scene, and the white man saw the hostility, the large unemployed black men, the ambitions for greater things than just equality, the ambitions for real change for the Afro-American population and own ''nation''....it is because of this that the white man rushed towards the ''lesser evil'' and glorified Martin Luther King...so to rally the black community behind Martin Luther King since his ideology didn't pose a real threat towards the whiteman's dominance of the US.
Just look at the Non-violent peace marches...the white man was in the beginning scared of these marches as they constantly interupted the marches. So what do you think they felt when Malcom X propagated to strike back? Ofcourse they rushed to give them civil rights
Thats the legacy of Malcom X.
MM,
So you would still be part of the United Kingdom? Wouldn't the world look different if the American Revolution never happened?
Revolution is a force which tears every old structure apart. In this there is alot of suffering, human tragedy, destruction etc. But in the end, the fruits of the Revolution will be cherished and even commemorated. Just look in the history, was there a more bloody Revolution then the French? Or The Russian, or what about Chinese Revolution? Yet, all these revolutions except for the Russian are honorouded highly, and seen as the startpoint of a new era.

The American Civil Rights Movement could easily have been suppressed. It was so successful only because it had the full backing of the President and Attorney General of the United States, John and Robert Kennedy, and the moral and ethical support of many others.
Note that EVERY major leader of the movement was assasinated, but also that no minority group ever had the votes or the power to pull something like the Civil Rights Movement off by itself. It took majority support.

"Malcom X is the reason why the white man rushed to give the black man his civil rights. If the struggle was fought only by the likes of Martin Luther King, the white man would sit back and watch how they proceed with their endless ''non-violent'' peace marches."
Bullshit. Martin Luther King, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson.......those are the men who made it happen. And a lot of other smaller figures who risked (and lost in some cases) their lives. Americans did not live in fear of an uprising from a minority population group. A stupid thesis.
"But then a radical movement led by Malcom X came on the scene, and the white man saw the hostility, the large unemployed black men, the ambitions for greater things than just equality, the ambitions for real change for the Afro-American population and own ''nation''....it is because of this that the white man rushed towards the ''lesser evil'' and glorified Martin Luther King...so to rally the black community behind Martin Luther King since his ideology didn't pose a real threat towards the whiteman's dominance of the US."
Stupid again. In your world view only those groups who are violent can make change. As if people can not be pursuaded through rationale argument (which is what changed my parents attitudes). Perhaps because you are a Somali, you fail to understand that there is something called civil society. I know Somalis by and large don't know what it is, but it does exist outside of the Horn of Africa.
"Just look at the Non-violent peace marches...the white man was in the beginning scared of these marches as they constantly interupted the marches. So what do you think they felt when Malcom X propagated to strike back? Ofcourse they rushed to give them civil rights "
It wasn't the "white man". It was southern culture which could not get its head wrapped around the changes coming. A lot of white men supported this change, and some died for it.
"Thats the legacy of Malcom X."
Hate and ignorance are the legacy of Malcom X. He was a prick who has been glamorized.
"So you would still be part of the United Kingdom? Wouldn't the world look different if the American Revolution never happened?"
We were EXTREMELY lucky in the outcome of our revolution, because it was engineered by some brilliant and great men. Things could have gone sour easily. Most revolutions do not have happy endings, but end in despotism and violence, with no imrpovement in the areas the revolution was suppose to address.

The Chinese Revolution??? Come on. The squeeze was in no way worth the juice there. The problem was Chinese National Leadership was so bad, so corrupt, that there was no positive outcome to be had.
Now, maybe you are not happy with the basic structure of American society. If that's the case, do us all a favor and git the fock out. Go back to that revolutionary paradise, Somalia. America doesn't need or want a revolution. Take a poll, test my theory.

Re: Malcolm X -- There is no such thing as a Bloodless Revolutio
MM is the classic reason why white Americans honour or like Martin LK, and hate Malcom X.
The houseni99a has always been liked by the white American, just because the houseni99a becomes docile, accepts the rules of the white American and thus his inferiour position, while the fieldni99a always tries to escape his slavery and inferiority.
About Somalis,
You have been long time among Somalis, so you should know how are characteristics are. Our self-image is high no matter the poverty we're living in, no matter the misery, still we consider ourselves as human beings with alot of potential. We see ourselves among the greatest peoples of the world, eventhough we haven't achieved that place yet
We are confident, have our pride and dignity, and never will you see a nomad Somali responding to violence with non-violence
These days there is a contradiction between our self-image and our poor situation on the ground. So one of these has to change, and since Somalis have been characterized by this proud, high self-image I think the surrounding has to change to correspond with our high self-image. This is inevitable since Somalis have not accepted the poor situation and are still struggling to adapt the surrounding to their high self-image.
PS: Who said I live in the States. And Insha allah I'll go back to Somalia when I'm done in the West.

"MM is the classic reason why white Americans honour or like Martin LK, and hate Malcom X."
You mean to say that our respect for those who take a stand against injustice by working to change it without destroying hundreds of thousands of lives and property and infrastructure is misplaced??? Is that your theory?
"The houseni99a has always been liked by the white American, just because the houseni99a becomes docile, accepts the rules of the white American and thus his inferiour position, while the fieldni99a always tries to escape his slavery and inferiority."
It has nothing to do with being docile, everything to do with respecting the rule of law.

Respond to violence with non-violence?? That's the least of your problems. You don't need to worry about responses. There is no chance of a Somali ever having the self-discipline to respond to violence with non-violence. Right now it would be good if you could just get them to stop perpetrating violence againt anyone and everyone they don't agree with.

Well, a good start would be to start acting like human beings instead of animals.

Done? Doing what?
