Cadde Musse wishes you a Happy Ramadan

Dubai, UAE: The President H.E. Mohamud Musse Hersi who is currently in Dubai, UAE has wished Ramadan Kareem to all Puntland citizens and Somalis around the world.
“In this holy month of reflection, may your Ramadan be blessed. This is a time for worship and I time to strenghthen our family and community. I pray for peace in those areas in Somalia that currently don’t have peace. In Puntland, I hope we continue to enjoy the peace that God has blessed with in the last 9 years of our existence”.

Also, the UNDP visited the grand city of Garowe, in the blessed land of Nugaal.
Puntland Finance Minister Hon. Dr.Mohamed Ali Yusuf and The Minister of Fishing, Ports, MarineTransport and Marine Resources Hon. Saeed Mohamed Rage greeted a delegation from the World Bank and UNDP Senior Officials at the Garowe, Airport.
The delegation held meetings with Puntland Government Officials at the offices of the Ministry of Finance in Garowe.
Puntland Government Officials attending this meeting included:The Minister of Local Government and Rural Development Hon. Ali Abdi Awaare, the Minister of Planning and International Co-Operation Hon. Abdi Salad Ali, Government Officials from the Ministry of Finance and Representatives from the Puntland Parliament, The Puntland Finance Minister Hon. Dr. Mohamed Ali Yusuf thanked the delegation for their visit to Puntland. The Minister stated, “Puntland is led by a development orient leader who is seriously determined to develop this State”.
The Minister of Planning and International Co-Operation Hon. Abdi Salad Ali also added that Puntland was looking forward to working with the World Bank and UNDP in developing strong fiscal management for the State.
Ms. Salasuki stated the delegation was in Puntland to assess and provide expertise assistance in the following key areas:
1. Administration and management Policy
2. Economy management particularly focusing on commodities pricing and the amount of cash circulating in the markets of Puntland.
3. Good Governance
Ms. Salasuki also stated that on September 22nd a team of specialists from the World Bank will be coming to Puntland as part of the action plan for the State.
