American Gangster: The Album

"American Gangster will be the tenth studio album by rapper Jay-Z. It is set to be released on November 6, 2007 in the United States, according to XXL magazine. The albums original title was speculated to be Boss Hova, but this was obviously changed.
The first single is confirmed to be "Blue Magic".

American Gangster is a "concept album", and, in an interview with The New York Times, Jay-Z revealed that the album is inspired by the 2007 film of the same name, and that he recorded nine tracks for the album, almost every one of them based on a specific scene from the film. Jay-Z also said that the album will be a "return to a tougher, more unflinching view of street life."
