'08 Somaliland elections on Somalinet!

It's never too early to predict folks. The elections of our beloved lil nation are merely 200 days or so away from this day.

What if we to conduct a sample poll here on smnet. The likely result may very well give us good idea of what to expect.

The contending parties and their candidates:

1. Kulmiye- Chairman: Mahmoud ahmed s11laanyo. likey vice president cand. Fagadhe.
2. Udub - Chairman: Dahir Riyale Kahin. Ahmed Yasin.
3. Ucid- Chairman: Faysal Cali Warabe. ??

Well that is somewhat true...but not exactly.

One thing to always keep in mind is Dahir Riyaale kahin defeated S11lanyo for the Presidency and one can argue it wasn't just Riyaale's clan that voted him to bring on top.

So that would probably defeat your argument right there.

Secondly, I would vote for Gaboose, just because I agree more with what he stands for, being clean cut, religious and honest man.

Unfortunately we won't be able to, cuz QARAN is not a political party as of yet.

Well ultimately those who think anyone who has non Isaaq blood can't run or be something must be smoking some xashiish or must have been asleep when Riyaale who is not Isaaq all around was voted in. The people of somaliland are very open minded, don't use characters on smnet to draw conclusions from Somaliland.

I am alot different than Ina Baxar, he believes that SL and somalia should reunite at the end. I believe Somaliland should stay this way until judgement day.
