A Delegation from the University of Rome arrives Puntland

Garowe, Puntland: An Italian delegation from the University of Rome headed Prof. Fago Luicieno arrived in Garowe. Eng. Alas Abdinur Yusuf who is the liaison between the University of Rome and Puntland State University, Somali Scholar Prof. Jama Salad and Gen. Abdinur Yusuf Ahmed received the delegation at the Galkacyo Airport
The delegation held a series of meeting with Puntland Government officials in Garowe. Puntland Government officials participating in these meetings included: The Minister of Finance Hon. Dr. Mohamed Ali Yusuf, The Minister of Health Hon. Dr. Abdirahman Said Mohamud (Dhegaweyne), Minister of Planning and International Co-Operation Hon. Abdi Salad Ali.
The delegation from the University of Rome signed an agreement with the Puntland Government to support the State’s Universities and to share research between institutions. A dinner reception was also held for the delegation before they left for a visit to Bossaso.
