???????????????

The terminal and airport were inaugurated in August, 1967, two years before Siad Barre came to power. I was there when the first 747 left Mog. It was a big deal.

Kismaayo21, nothing big will ever be named after Siad Barre. He hasn't earned that status and respect from the Somali people at large.

Aadan Cadde, the father of the Somali Republic is a different story. First African head of state to relinquish his position without problems.
