'Umar bin 'Abd al-'Aziz said:
"None can reach the state of taqwa until he possesses neither actions nor words that can be exposed to his embarrassment, either in this world or the Hereafter."
He was also once asked: "When does the worshipper reach the peak of taqwa?"
He replied: "If he puts all of the thoughts and desires in his heart on a plate, and then wandered around in the market, he should not feel ashamed of anything there."
['Min Akhlaq as-Salaf'; p. 56]
"...he should not feel ashamed of anything there."

Umar was the 2nd Khalifa (In English 'Caliph), one of the 9 pearls (10 Companions) who have been promised Paradise InshaAllah.
Umar bin Khattab's (ra) grave lies next to our Nabi's (saw) grave and Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (ra) who is the 1st Khalifah. This shows thier importance, how close they were to the Rasulil-lah (saw) and thier efforts to continue his Sunnah, they are the successors of the Messenger of God (saw) - They are the Khalifatu Ruasulilah!! They led the Muslims after the death of Moahmmed (saw)!!
Umar was know for his hardcore beliefs and bravery, this stories I recommend everyone to read and ensure you it will change you, especially how he came into the religion and accepted Islam and how he has never let his Shahadah down. Much of his beliefs and how he spoke nothing but the truth, even if it wasnt pleasent are well known. He was rightly guided by Allah swt and his judgement's on issues were well respected, even the Rasulilah (saw) was astonished with Umar's firmness. Let me give you an example; there was a time when there was plenty of people in the Rasulilah's (saw) house and they kept coming in as his house was welcome to all always, Umar adviced and suggested to Mohammed (saw) that it would be better for Him and for the females of his household to cover themselves .. Shortly after the ayat commanding the Prophet to tell his wives, daughters and the believing women to draw clokes over them was revealed!! Allahu Akbour.. Can you see his beautiful Judgement?
I have plenty of other examples.. The man was incredible and seriously reading about him Alxamdulilah always makes me think twice about myself.
''God has placed truth upon Umar's Tongue and heart'' (Hadith)
EVEN the Rassulilah(saw) Said HIMSELF, *IF* there was ever to be another Prophet after me ..it would be Umar bin Khattab (may allah be pleased with him!!)
