Post by MJ-Pride »

The Puntland and Somaliland is taken Fellas. I refered this to my cousin a year ago and they sent him To Somaliland. He gets paid 40,000 whilst pimping Isaaq ladies and doing nothing. The Hiraan one is open now. Imagine getting paid 40,000 in Hiraan and all Xawaadle cuties lining up for you up

The job is offered by DRC(Danish Refuge Counsil). You'd have to go to Denmar if you are selected for an interview.
........................................................................................................

The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) invites applications for the position as Project Manager for an integrated rehabilitation programme, Central Somalia. The current programme is based in Belet Weyne, Hiraan Region, but expansion is envisioned into neighbouring regions.

The current programme has three main components:
• Long term rehabilitation activities based on close consultation with targeted communities (IDP hosting communities are prioritized)
• Engagement with local clan structures for peace and reconciliation.
• Provision of short term humanitarian relief when needs arise.

DRC has had activities in Central Somalia since 2003. Apart from activities in Central Somalia, DRC has activities in Somaliland (North West Somalia), Puntland (North East Somalia) and Mogadishu. The programme in Belet Weyne is seen as part of a wider Somalia Programme, and is overseen from DRC's regional office in Nairobi.

Duties
As Project Manager in Central Somalia you will provide daily team management and coaching, technical support for the projects, carry out capacity building for the field teams, ensure systems are in place for staff safety and security, financial and logistical oversight, proposal development and reporting, and internal/external coordination, information sharing, reporting and representation.

You will be going to Nairobi on a regular basis for co-ordination, and visits from DRC's office in Nairobi and other DRC programmes throughout Somalia will be equally regular.

Your qualifications
• Strong experience from direct implementation in conflict or post-conflict situations.
• Experience from implementation through partnerships with local NGOs.
• Proven management skills, including financial management.
• Hands on experience with all steps of the project cycle including assessments as well as monitoring and evaluation.
• Ability and commitment to staff skills development.
• Experience with participatory methods and processes.
• Experience from external relations.
• Experience with proposal writing and documentation to donors.
• Proven experience in security management.
• Knowledgeable of basic standards: ICRC Code of Conduct, HAPI, Sphere, etc.
• Willing, and proven ability, to live/work in insecure, remote, volatile, stressful and isolated conditions in Africa - preferably in Somalia.
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience in water supply, household/public sanitation and hygiene would be an advantage.

Reference
The project manager will refer to DRCs programme manager for Central South Somalia.

Conditions
Duty station: Belet Weyne, Hiraan Region, Central Somalia. Non-family duty station.
Contract: 1 year, Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Danish Refugee Council “Terms of Employment for Expatriates” (available at www.drc.dk under Vacancies).
