The slaughtering of Harti intelligentsia are continuing in Kismayo (Adam Warsame Xirey)
As the crisis in the Lower Jubba deepened, the planing annihilation of Harti influential individuals are still taking place in Kismayo since an acquisition of Kismayo by the Galgaduud renegades from the government on April 23, 2007. The Galgaduud Militias are responsible for a gruesome murdering of 15 deaths of Harti clan elite since the city fell into their hand. The Militia officers ordered for the Harti clan elite to be murdered in an execution style. The latest mass killing were took place in Kismayo a week ago when they attempted to kill 6 of the elite people four escaped luckily and two deaths (Yuusuf Mohamed Ali & Ahmed Adan Muse)


The Galgaduud militias attribute their atrocities to exterminate Kismayo residents to appropriate their land for murdering them. Slain victims are kidnapped first from their homes and then murdered them out skirt of the city. The remnants of Harti clan in kismayo live in the terror and displacement of ethnic cleansing and daily continue atrocity against common civilians by Sade criminals become routinely in Kismayo.

The spokesman for the Galgaduud militias Hassan Mohamed Ali (Hassan dhere) always uses the same method of a media cover up of lip service to mislead the public and justify their outrageous and barbaric actions when they kill their targeted people. That is” We are sorry and send a condolence to the victim family and we will investigate the case and catch the killer to bring to a justice” and the outcome always is the same-nothing more than an empty shell why? Because the order of the death warrants comes from Hassan Dhere and Abdiizaq Farah Ali Taano and how they will investigate and catch themselves isn’t an absurd tactic!

On going negotiation between Kablah and Sade adjourned a meeting of Reconciliation conference on October 27/2007 in Kismayo. That meeting is an already dead due to the massacre and ethnic cleansing carried by the Sade radicals. They infringed the resolution number one of stopping the atrocities committed against the innocent civilians. An another laughable about the resolutions is when the sade clan elders agreed to withdraw with their killing machines from Kismayo to the government training camp in two weeks time to buy the time, which seems to me odd, nothing more than an entertainment. Because the Galgaduud renegades play a double standard one thing they are saying” we want peace and support government” to conceal their own agenda while they continue for a ruthless ethnic cleansing to create heaps of corpses and helping to the Mogadishu insurgents.


The three most troubled regions in Somalia were Banadir, Lower Jubba, and lower shabelle. The transitional government is dealing two of them especially Banadir and Lower shabelle while they neglected the lower Jubba to stop the carnage of Kismayo civilians face daily. The Kismayo resident’s loss hope of government intervention for stopping their bloodshed and the government is looking for a blind eye to intervene for the aggrieved region and playing a low profile to stop the mass bloodthirsty and barbarism action.



The government is struggling to disarm for the Mogadishu insurgents completely while the insurgents acquire more weapons than the quantities they loss with the government from the Eritrea support groups based in Kismayo. You can’t dislodge influx of ants unless you terminate its’ ant hill first similarly, the government mightn’t eradicate the Mogadishu insurgents unless they will take the control of Kismayo (Insurgents main source of Weapons). An English proverb says “don’t put all your eggs into one basket”. The method of handling the troubled regions by the government is neither a military strategy nor a sharp political tactician when they allowed the Galgaduud wolves to control the Kismayo City and butchering the city residents as they want to. Accountabilities for losing life occurs in Kismayo lies on the government shoulders and it is their primary responsibility, according to the international law because they are the only authority in Somalia soil after the defeat of Islamic Courts Unions.



AbdiQasim’s Transitional government failed in handling for solving the Lower Jubba and lower shabelle crisis and it is a vital to the current government to look back on that failure and get advantage to reverse the situation.

Conclusion

Regrettable, Every Somali bewilders why the government is watching the bloodshed, bizarre atrocities and derogatory criminal activities against for the defenseless people of Kismayo which were committed by the Galgaduud wild wolves. The failure of the Lower jubba will hurt the government credibility and reputation to put at stake and the transitional government must revive the accountability issue related to this genocide.
I’m urging to the victims’ family to record and document the names, rank position in militias and tribes of their family member murders, including officers who ordered the killers to kill. The fate of kismayo will end up in a vicious cycle of revenge and reprisal for years to come even if law and order on surface for another day.
