I'm not even joking, their GDP Per Capita is only $100 better than Somalia's national average; factually Puntland and Somaliland have a much higher per capita income average and overall living standards, even better security and health. But they have that shiny, elusive element that Somalis don't have---A DAWLAD.

And their capital Sana'a is actually kind of nice, but pre-war Xamar looked way better. I think Khartoum, Sudan is the worst capital city on Earth though, with a functioning gov't.

^ I heard that one. The country has way too many natural resources and potential to have such a terrible capital city. Never in my life have I seen such a large and empty capital city. There is a small area in downtown Khartoum with some decent standing towers, but the rest of the country is just nasty shacks, not even decent suburban neighborhoods.

I agree though, in the next 20 years I expect skyscrapers. Same with Somalia if oil is discovered.

somalis shouldnt be talking about oil at this moment, this will only prolong the war and suffereing. oil should only be brought up once there are institutions and proper procedures to ensure smooth operations of oil production.

This is how it works. Somalis are savages.

They don't fight over important things, they fight over trivial things. They don't fight over oil or natural resources, they fight over grazing lands that they award holy status.

Somalia is already at war, and if there is risk of war in the oil business, than it is a risk well worth it.

Sanaa looks like a piece of shid dude. What with the 13th century homes and no commercial buildings whatsoever? I really feel bad for Yemenis because even with a dawlad there still starving. Once a Dawlad comes to Somalia we'll probably tripple Yemen's output in every major economical statistic. Also a good friend of mine I went to school with who was a Yemeni exchange student told me that Yemen is just as tribalistic as Somalia, and even worse there even more armed, with old tanks, armoured cars, rockets etc...He told me that if a war were to break out it would be devastating.

But their capital city, as ugly and old as it might be, is huge.

At the end of the day, Somalis are going to Yemen to escape, not anywhere in Somalia.

to make matters worse, they treat somalis in Sanca like shyt walaahi, i was once watching this Video documentary of Somalis in Yemen sleeping on the streets and some yemenis saying these somalis need to go back to their home, they are making our cities uglier and bringing in diseases,

walaahi was shocked, like what the f'uck! They are the lowest things on earth, they are yemenis for crying out loud, ugly, hairy, smelly, short and nasty people, and very unclean.

and they dare speak to somalis like that, when we are in a war situation, and that when we had the peace, they used to come to our land and do business and enjoy the beautiful green areas of somalia,

now that is why i can never see any Yemen or Arab in Somalia when we get our peace and prosperity back (insha'allah), only folks we should treat nicely are the Emirates who welcomed us in Dubai.
