THE REASON WHY SOMALIS UNDERACHIEVE..>>>>>

ever wondered why generally most somalis underachieve?

answer is simple... its cuz of our culture. but this doesnt include all only majority. 1 of the main reasons is cuz of our parents.

1stly over 90% of somalis that settled here 2 begin with came from civil war. Our parents were seekin refuge in a developed nation like britain and they welcomed us.

now imagine your a mother with kids, u & ur husband cant speak any english at all. What do you do? find a job, but how? u cant speak remember. So eventually u settle wid benefits & so does ur husband.

Ok, so hooyo takes care of the kids, what does aabo do with all that spare time, answer, he spends it with other somali men, chewing ofcourse.
single hooyo is then left generally having to take care of 5 or more kids which is very stressful.

the kids then grow up with a demotivated father who does nothing but chew and a mother who doesnt understand how to educate her children and emphasize the importance of this. As a result kids grow up with very poor educational history. In addtion, somali youths normally come together and undoubtedly make each other worse. also Theres no role models in our society except probably raageh omar, but why issnt there more.

this is especially for the boys who tend to do faaaaar much worse then girls which walahi i dont understand til this day, even doe i dont do that bad myself. anyways these 1st generation somali brits get used to this so called "easy benefit life" eventually they instil this culture into their children & the cycle continues.

....anyways i thought lo0ng n hard about this, & i came up with this as 2 y we somalis dnt do so gud...

How you gonna go and blame parents, if anything parents are the ones that motivate us the most, pushing us to do greater and better things with our lives.

Yeah they may have escaped the civil war and that but why would they do all that come to some country where they can't speak the lang or no anyone from adam...?

If anything my parents are my motivators, they keep me going when I wanna give up so allow saying its the parents...

Britain has offered every immagrant a chance its up to us wether we choose to take that chance or not as an individual...

A_I Thats true for some people, no dad around to teach their kids about the purpose of life, our culture (most somali teens struggle to understand and speak somali) manors and etiquettes
So then yea your left with a mother who has to STRUGGLE on her own and raise several kids while the father is out doing god knows what! Im talking from expierence so ain't no body gon' tell me any different.Anyway Alhamdulila i've had a wonderful mother who done right by us.
