I think i am a trend Setter....
I started back in 98 when i was a todler here in Somalinet--- i started using terms like 'Xalimo' to descrive sort of the 'jane doe' of somali women standard. Then, i also started the trend of callling "Farahs' as the joe for somali men.Today, its common practice to use these euphomism. Zulaika will concur with me on this factual point.

Basra,
We all know that you have set a lot more trends in S-net than those two mere words, however, what I would like to know,.........................actually, what I am soooo interested is, are you a trend setter in real life?
Ismahan,
Basra is a bi, not lesbo

Sir Lug
Sorry i was laughing so much i forgot to answer your important and relevant question. Am I a trend setter in real life???
Well that is the question, isn't it?
Well, WHAT do u think? I mean, can u see me NOT being a trend setter in real life? Can u seem me-- the leader of our ring? The one who is original and everyone makes their schedule based on? That whatever fashion or store i shop- others flock to it? That every word i use, people in my vicinity, naturally begin to use it? Thank God, to my limitless vocabulary command, or otherwise it would have bothered me greatly.
What do u think Sir lug-- in YOUR OWN words and thoughts?

Basra dear,
Ppl have different personalities online and offline but I think of you as this little cute girl with the little chubby face (from outside) whom everyone wants to be associated with, you know ......................the kind that even some men would love to cuddle only and not have carnal knowledge with.................. (but from inside) you are this razor sharp witch that nothing escapes from who holds grudges from Kindergarten and would never think twice when it comes to revenge. Those whom ppl like to smile in their faces (because they are afraid of) but frown upon behind her back, and your favorite weapon being your claws

No, only the cowards have a different personality offline. There's no need to be all fake online.

Re: I think i am a trend Setter....
What??? I am shocked! Utterly and completely.
OK first of all, why would u think i hold grudges from kindergarten?? I mean, HOW did u reach that decision without crossing me in a while that has scurred u for life. I dont remember we ever crossing each other in a so memorable way!
Second of all, well u are right--we all hold different characteristics. In my opinion, i think the online character is the real us. We unleash our inner sharp, razor witch side that we hide from real life. LOL
Third of all, can u clarify the part where u said--- 'Nothing escapes me'???? LOOOL that is hilarious --SIR LUG - what do u mean, by this statement?
ANd last but certainly not least--- what is that talk about carnal and all that- caudubillaahi!

Naayaa Ashlee,
Wali ma sidii baad ii jeceshahay? Belo hoosta kaa gashaye naga hadh
Basra,
I think I am the only in this medium bestowed with the privilege of reading you like a text book. Despite the fact that you haven't scarred me per se, I never by passed an opportunity to observe your relentless lashes towrds others.
"Nothing escapes you" as in the sense of never letting a prospect of hurting someone, catching them when their pants are down, or simply picking their brains. Plus the natural ability of being keen and disecting the gory details of issues others would shy away from.
You know the "carnal knowledge" part, stop playing the innocent chubby cheeked chik, but if you insist in particularization, then it is what I have been asking you for all this time.........................you know.................the thing that you sometimes fish your thong out of

Sir Lug

Sir Lugooyo
I must admit- YOU of all people in the forum has the 'capability' to read me and figure me out.As i said, i have been here since my todler days, and one keen observant person, namely shidow of course--- said-- that i am his hero. That i am here more than 7 years and still maintain to be mysterious. But YOU sir--are a keen, silent larking roamer who cherish and dazzles at my daily postings. I am not saying you have really ...'really' figured me out, but i think if anyone is closer, It will be you.
That is why, therefore i declare you the PRESIDENT of Somalinet, and naturally i am the first lady. Or is it the other way around--i mean Hillary clinton, is starting a trend dont u think so???
