the somali stranger

Post by zulaika »

when u see a somali person on the street, do you see them as "strangers"? and specially for the xalimoz...if a somali offers u a ride while your waiting for a bus, do u accept it? i mean he obviously approached u under the premise of "somalinimo" so how much of that are u obligated to return. i personally see everyone that i don't know as pure strangers, i don't care if they're somali or not and i've had many instances where i declined a ride offer, even from cab drivers who were off duty.

Fok that. I'd never get into an elevator with a dodgy looking Somali fellow, so what makes you think I'd accept a lift from one? If you're not fam. you're a stranger, PERIOD. Smile

Somalis are the rudest of all folks. I remember I gave this lady a ride while standing outside a Halal Meat with a baby. She gets in to my car and takes a back seat like I'm some sort of a Taxi driver. Laughing As soon as she gets in, starts talking on her phone, didnt bother to tell me where she was going. To make a long story short, we reach her distination, mind you she was on the phone the entire ride. She gets off NO BYE NO THANK YOU!

Have you seen the movie deathproof where Kurt Russell kills girls in his car. She deserves that kind of shit.

Dont' be afraid of your brothers. You don't know how much Somali guys love their Somali women but there is a communication barrier and clash of two cultures complicating the natural/traditional upbringing of our Somaliness. I hardly see girls on the street, but one time I was walking from a mechanic shop while my car was getting fixed, a beautiful girl stopped and offered me a ride. I didn't know her, but I said to her 'thanks I am going to two blocks down the road''. I sensed she felt her generous offer unreciprocated.
