Windows VISTA vs. XP

Would you buy a PC/Laptop with XP on it or go for one with Vista ?

In other words, what are any good reasons to buy Vista instead of XP or going Linux ?

I love Ubuntu. Its an awesome package.

If u have a really old machine, try PuppyLinux which is a very light weight distro.

Vista is sweet, IMO. But security is so advanced now, that virus, trojan, etc, are rendered almost toothless, unless you're totally inept. My PC is a fortress, which renders LINUX obsolete. Go with VISTA, but just make sure to update all apps.

I dl'd it from Bit torrent, but you're right, it is bloated. More RAM should have it hummin though.
