Is it wrong to have “chemistry” with someone who’s not your significant other if that chemistry is non-sexual and strictly platonic? by that I mean someone of the opposite sex that you just click with on many levels. I know this is dancing around the issue of “can u be friends with the opposite sex”, but there’s a friend and then there’s that special someone that u just click with.

There is nothing wrong with having a little non sexual chemistry with someone of the opposite sex. I have plenty of male friends that are closer to me than some of my girlfriends and there is nothing sexual about it.

Then again most of my male friends are gay……………………………..

Well let’s just put it this way. As long as a person is comfortable and can trust themselves I don’t think there is anything wrong with having a close non sexual relationship with someone of the opposite sex and be married.

zulaika...i would advise you that if you are happy with the guy your with...at a stable place..and your serious to stop being friends with the other guy..its not that guys and girls can't be friends but the fact is that someone you have chemistry with is not JUST your friend...there is something more... and the more you are around him the more your mind surrenders to your heart and does something that would interfere with your relationship..trust me..you don't want to be in a place where you have to choise between the two and that is were it will eventually end if this friend that you have a chemistry with is still around.
