Salam alaykum
Since ramadan finished it feels like i've been hit with a disease. The shaitan tries to open all the doors to fitnah.
The God forsaken shaitan tries to trick us into thinking that Allah will never forgive us, but brothers and sisters never give up in the mercy of Allah. We are all human and we all sin, but what sets us apart is repenting to our Lord.
once your heart is black and hard and you sin without remorse, then its very hard to come back up.
I beleive us guys have it double as hard, growing up in the UK, where immorality is normal. But Inshallah God will enable us to remain steadfast.
If only our iman was as high as it was in ramadan

Re: RAMADAN BLUES
Isn't it sad?
I learnt & did so much during Ramadan and my Iman was so high..Alxamdulilah.
It is difficult now, but if we come to Allah just simply with a step, Allah will not let us down he will come running etc (hadith) So Allahu Akbour, all we need to do is just fix up and do something, even if it is a little thing like listening to Quran for keeping company with good Muslims. Little things. Sincerity and effort is all that is required, because if we let it, the sweetness of Iman could escape us and shaydaan could turn us into disbelieve (may allah save us!! ameen)!

Re: RAMADAN BLUES
Salam,
True say bruv..
We gotta remember that our level of imaan goes up and down. It goes down with the disobedience to Allah..and by obeying Allah SWT it goes up. We should never despair of the mercy of Allah..we are all bound to sin..but the best of the sinners are those who repent and try their best not to go back to the sin they were commiting.
Repentance is the most noble and beloved form of obedience in the eyes of Allah the All Mighty.
Allah SWT says in the Quran.
"Do not despair of God's mercy; He will forgive you of all your sins".Qur'an (39:53).
"Those (are the true believers) who, when they commit an evil deed, or wrong their souls, remember Allah, and seek forgiveness for their sins - and who but Allah forgives sins? They do not insist upon the sins they have committed, and they know (that Allah is forgiving)." (Qur'an 3:135)
Abu Bakr Al siddiq (May Allah be pleased with him), narrated:
"I heard Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) saying: ‘There isn’t a man who, when he commits a sin, rises, makes ablution, and offers two rak'as of prayers, but Allah forgives his sins.’
May Allah guide us all ameeen.

Re: RAMADAN BLUES
Aameen..
'Abdullah ibn Mas'ûd (ra) said
"Verily the believer sees his sins as if he is standing under a mountain, afraid that it will collapse upon him. And verily the evildoer sees his sins as flies passing by his nose and he does this to it. Abû Shihâb (said whilst clarifying the action that Ibn Mas'ud made when he said "he does this to it"): "He moves it the fly away by swiping his hand over his nose".
(Bukhârî)
It is reported that 'Umar ibn al Khattâb (ra) said
"Bring yourselves to account before you are brought to account, and weigh your deeds before they are weighed".
(at-Tirmidhî in tamridh form, see Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi, hadîth no. 2577)
It is reported that Maymun ibn Mihran said:
"A slave is not from the muttaqîn (those who fear Allâh) until he brings himself to account more severely and thoroughly than keeping account of his business partner, the two partners bring themsevles to account after every action"
(at-Tirmidhî, also in tamridh form see Tuhfat al Ahwadhi hadîth no.2577)
Furthermore;
"The believer is firm in bringing himself to account for (the sake of Allâh). Indeed lighter is the reckoning of a person who brings himself to account in the world; and indeed difficult is the reckoning of the Day of Judgement for a people who did not bring themselves to account (in the world)"
(attributed to Hasan)
Beware of minor sins as the Messenger of Allâh has said
"verily the example of those who commit minor sins is like a group of people who descended upon a valley. One of them brought a stick, and then another person brought a stick, and then another and another, until they gathered enough for a fire to cook their bread. This is similar to the idea of minor sins, because the accumulation of small sins will eventually become enough to destroy you (just like the piling of sticks was eventually enough to create a fire)"
(Ahmad and others)
