52% Support U.S. Military Strike Against Iran

Wow, If this poll is correct, it's damn scary, depressing and shameful.

They should ask the question: "Would you support a military strike against Iran if it involved bringing back the draft."

Too many rich/priveleged policy makers dictating things for kids that they wouldn't want their own kids involved in.

Frankly, I'm surprised the number (52%) isn't higher than it is, considering the ignorance of the average American. I remember at the start of the Iraq war, support for the war was about 70%. Now it's down to 33%; however, if bUsh attacks Iran, I'm sure the number will jump up because the American public loves to see TV images of things blowing up and to wave a finger in the air, shouting "We're number one".

I think America has more to lose than anybody else.

Wars, especially long-drawn out wars are not in favor of those who benefit from the current status-quo.

Virtually every nation/empire goes down this way. Needless wars, conquests, etc.

Kinda reminds me of Rome, I think we're headed in that direction.

I simply do not believe this is a legitimate poll. PEW is supposedly reliable, but their numbers have been suspect before, because ways they frame the questions create an unavoidable bias.

Listen up, we Somalis have a superiority complex. We may be less literate than Americans using comparisons of educational literacy but we can see bullshid when its being served.

If the drums of war are being beat, that is for the American people to deal with.

As a citizen, I am opposed to a war with Iran and will lobby & vote against it but being a pluralistic democracy, Bush is in charge & if he goes for it, that is his choice.
