referred to Blacks as "raisin heads". (Sahih Al Bukhary vol. 1, no. 662 and vol. 9, no. 256).

Mohammed is quoted as saying that Blacks are, "pug-nosed slaves". (Sahih Moslem vol. 9 pages 46 and 47).

Hadith; vol.9:162,163: Muhammad warned that dreams of black women meant disease was forthcoming.

"I heard the Apostle say: ‘Whoever wants to see Satan should look at Nabtal!' He was a black man with long flowing hair, inflamed eyes, and dark ruddy cheeks.... Allah sent down concerning him: ‘To those who annoy the Prophet there is a painful doom." There was one Jewish man who was able to fabricate 500,000 Hadiths in a span of a few years, so it wouldn't surprise me if these ones are fabrications.

i dunno, but i have never read the hadiths you are talking about. i am not saying they don't exist, but perhaps its something taken out of context or just really misunderstood or fake hadith from anti Muslim site, really weak hadith..i dunno

we all know there is no racism in Islam

the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wasallam) loved Bilal (ra) so much and he was a black slave that both Abu Bakr and the Prophet paid for his freedom

Bilal is a very important figure in Islam

there is also a hadith that mentions the Prophet (sallahu alayhi wasallam) becoming upset when he was notified of the black woman's death ( a woman who use to sweep the masjid) he wanted to pray over her. it says nothing of her name, only that she was a black woman

there is no racism in Islam against blacks, or any other color

The Prophet (sallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab, nor has a non-Arab any superiority over an Arab, nor has a black man any superiority over a white man or a white man over a black man except by the criterion of taqwa (righteous practice). All of you are from Adam, and Adam is from dust." (As-Sunan)

The Prophet (sallahu alayhi wasallam) also said: "Allah does not look at your shapes or your colors but He looks at your hearts (intentions) and your deeds. Creatures are the dependants of Allah and the closest among them to Allah are indeed the most useful to His dependants."
