Lelkasse did the noble thing when they totally stayed out of the Kismayo beef. They shouldn't have taken our side nor MJ's side and they didn't which was smart. The most unfortunate thing in the whole MJ-MR Kismayo beef is how the name 'Harti' got thrown around. Right now Marexaan youth in the armies keep hearing 'Harti is the enemy' and this could make for a disasterous situation in Kismayo. However Lelkasse never got involved in the conflict one bit even though they live in Kismayo in large nubmers. Just like any Inter Darood conflict they didn't take sides, which was a noble gesture. The Dhulbahante in Hawd did the same thing during the Celi Vs Bicidyahan beef when Bicidyahan asked them for reinforcements and they said we'll send nabadoons to make peace between you two, but in no way are we going to send soldiers to fight Marexaan. I think the Lelkasse will be remembered most for the civil war Darood defense. There were many Lelkasse/Marexaan joint operations the most crucial being the Galkacyo takeover when both Lelkasse and Marexaan ambushed USC under the command of Cabdicasis Barre.
