Pleasure Of *JANNAH/PARADISE* You will love this place
“In Paradise there will be a tent made of a single hollowed pearl, the width of which will be sixty miles from all sides. There will live a family in each corner, and the other will not be able to see the believer who goes around to them.” [Muslim]
In a Hadith related by Umm Habeebah (raa), she say: "I heard the Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:
"Every servant who observes twelve raka'aat of supererogatory prayers other than the obligatory prayers, Allah (SWT) will build for him a house in paradise."
In another version:
"Whoever prayed twelve raka'aat (of supererogatory prayers), day and night, Allah (SWT) will build with them a house for him in paradise." [Muslim]
You will be greeted by your wife and as soon as she appears you will forget about your mansions, ibn Qayyim says you will b staring at her for 40 years (houri). They are like protected pearls: ‘If one of the women in Jannah shows herself to people of earth, she will fill that distance with light, and she would fill it with scent, and the scarf that is on her head is better than the world and everything that is in it.’ [Bukhar]
When you go around your place in Jannah, take a walk outside, you smell a very nice scent, you try to locate it, and you find that it is coming form the dirt in Janah which is made from musk.
This hadith has transmitted on the authority of Abu Sa'id that Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) asked Ibn Sa'id about the earth of Paradise. Thereupon he said: Abu'l-Qasim, It is like a fine white musk, whereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: 'You have told the the truth. (Book #041, Hadith #6997) [Muslim]
There’s flowing water, you see your river, cups waiting for you, so you drink and you keep drinking. You also have another river, a river of milk, colour and taste does not go bad, it’s always fresh, there’s a third river, not water, not milk, but wine, pure enjoyment, the fourth river is pure honey.
“(Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; and rivers of honey pure and clear.” (Quraan 47: 15)
Origin of rivers: There is a sea of water, a sea of milk, a see of wine and a sea of honey and out of these seas rivers come out.
In Jannah there are some special trees, all gold leaves and all silver leaves.
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: “In Paradise, there is a tree under the shadow of which a rider can travel for a hundred years.” (Book #040, Hadith #6784) [Muslim]
The fruits of the tree will produce the clothes for the people of Jannah.
The greatest tree is Sidratul Muntaha. Sidr is a tree in Arabia, special, highest tree in Jannah. Covered in colours that are indescribable. (Surah Najm)
The fruits are all year round, no one will be prevented from any tree in Jannah. There will be types/pairs of everything. If you tasted one fruit (orange) one day, next day the orange will taste different and even better.
The Ummah of Muhammad will make up ¾ of the people of Jannah. This is the greatest Ummah. Ibraheem alayhi salaam said to Muhammad sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, during al Miraaj, that the trees of Jannah are subhan’Allah walhamduliLah wa la ilahi illAllah wa Allahu akbar.
If you want to eat more food in Jannah you can have as much as you want, wherever you want, so if you see a bird and it looks very nice, you point to it, and as soon as you do that it’s cooked and ready to eat, alhamdulillah subhanAllah. The khamr of akhirah is pure of defects, and …“necks of birds in Jannah and like the neck of camels.”
The wine is presented in cups made form silver, but it is a different and unique type of silver as it is transparent. In Jannah there is no time limit, you can spend months drinking from you river, spend years talking to your wife. Decades pass, there is an announcement summoning all the people in Jannah, next to barrier separating Jannah and An Nar. So all the people of Jannah and all the people of Hell are near barrier, angels will come forth, and bringing with them death, death will come in the form of a ram, and death will be placed between Jannah and Nar, then the angels will slaughter it and kill it, the death of death. People of Jannah told: it is pleasure and you will never die. The people of Jahannam are told: it is punishment and you will never die. Eternity for both, greatest moments for people of Jannah, one pleasure followed by another.
You can make appointment with Nabi sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam and spend a few years with him. He would love to meet you, just as you would like to meet him sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. Nabi cares about us that his wives were called Mothers if the Believers, he is eager to meet us. You can meet Umar, Musa, Adam and talk with them, ask questions. Allah has taken out of us all ill feelings, in Jannah we will love everyone in Jannah, even if that person was your enemy in Dunyaa.
‘There hearts are so close to each other, it is as if they are one heart.’
You can meet all the people, of Nuh, Isa alayhi salaam.
If you have a particular interest in Dunyaa, that can be fulfilled in Jannah, the evidence is from Sunnah:
A man in Jannah will say, ‘O Allah, I want to own a farm, I want to plant tress.’ Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will ask, ‘O my servant, aren’t you enjoying the pleasures that I have already given you?’ ‘Yes, but I love farming.’ ‘Then you can own a farm.’ As soon as he throws seed, it will immediately grow and fruits will grow and they will be harvested right on the spot. The Bedouin who heard this laughed and said this man must be from Madinah.
Whatever you want will be fulfilled.
Fridays: Special day in Dunyaa, also a special day in Jannah.
The people of Jannah, every Friday, will go down to a gathering place, and they will be seated according to how close they were to Imam in Khutbatul Jumuah, this is when people will get to see Allah. That is the greatest pleasure. People in lowest Jannah will get to see Allah every Friday, but people in Jannatul Firdaws will see Allah twice each day, once in the morning and once in the evening.
In Jannah there is no stress, just pure enjoyment. The people in Jannah are not eating due to hunger, nor drinking due to thirst nor clothing due to nakedness they are eating out of pure pleasure, wearing clothes for pure pleasure, there’s no feeling of hunger or thirst in Jannah. There’s no defecation or urination. Everything they eat will come out like muck from pores of body.
Brief comparison between Jannah and Dunyaa
1. Quantity
There is no comparison, in Akhira the enjoyment is everlasting.
The Lowest Level in Jannah
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Masud radi Allahu anhu, that the Messenger of Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said:
The last entrant to Paradise would be a man who walks and stumbles once and be burnt by the fire once. When he gets beyond it, he will turn to it and say: Blessed is He who saved me from you and has given me what He gave nobody in the earlier or later times. Then a tree will be raised up for him. So he will say: O my Lord! Bring me closer to this tree so that I may take shelter in its shade and drink from its water. Allah azza wa jal would say: O son of Adam! If I grant you this, you will demand Me something else. He will say: No, my Lord. He promised that he would ask for nothing else. His Lord would excuse him because he sees the man will not have patience over it. So he will make him near it. Then he will take shelter in its shade and drink its water. Afterwards, a tree more beautiful than the first will be raised up before him. So he will say: O my Lord! Bring me near this tree. So that I may drink its water and take shelter in its shade. I shall not ask you for anything other than that. Allah will say: O son of Adam! Did you not promise Me that you would not ask Me for anything else. He will reply: Probably I shall ask for nothing if you bring me near it. And he promised Him he will not ask him for anything else. His Lord would excuse him because He knows that he would not keep his word. He would bring him near to the tree. The man will take shelter in its shade and drink its water. Then a tree more beautiful than the first two will be raised up at the gate of Paradise. He will say: O Lord! Please make me near to this tree so that I may enjoy its shade and drink its water. I shall not ask you anything else. His Lord would excuse him as the temptation of which he could not resist. When He would bring him near it, he would hear the voices of the inhabitants of Paradise. He would say: O my Lord! Admit me to it. Allah would say: O son of Adam! What will bring an end to your demands to me? Will it please you if I give you the (whole) world and a similar one along with it? The man will say: Are you mocking at ,e, though you are the Lord of the Worlds?
Narrating this Hadith ibn Masud laughed and asked the hearers: Why don’t you ask me what I am laughing at. They said: Why do you laugh? He said: In the same way the Messenger sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam laughed (and when he said this Hadith, and the Companions asked: why do you laugh, O Messenger of Allah? He replied: On account of the laughter of the Lord of the Worlds when the desirous of Paradise said: Are you mocking at me though you ar the Lord of the Worlds? At this, Allah will remark: I am not mocking at you, but I am All-Capable to do whatever I wish.
[This is a sound Hadith reported by Muslim]
2. Quality
“The area occupied by a whip (stick) in Jannah is better than the world and everything in it.” [Hadith]
Any property, however small is worth more than dunya.
3. Pure Pleasure
There is no pure pleasure in Dunya, pain is always occupied with pleasure and vice versa, contaminated pleasures.
Food: cannot eat a lot, you get too full, bad for health, but in Jannah you can eat as much as you like, food will come out s musk. The water in Jannah never changes, the milk never becomes sour and the wine does not intoxicate nor give headaches.
4. Time
Could be staring at your wife for 40 years. Dunya is temporary whilst Jannah is everlasting.
Who is the first person to enter Jannah
[Hadith] “I will come to the gates of Jannah and they are locked, and I will knock pn the gates, and they gate keeper will say: Who are you? I will say: I am Muhammad. The gate keeper will say: I was given instruction not to open to anyone before you.”
The first person to enter from Ummah is Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu after Ambiya.
There is a special group that will go through to Jannah without Al Hisab (Account). Escorted to gates, 70 000 x 70 000. The second largest Ummah is that of Musa alayhi salaam. The poor will enter Jannah beforehand as well, the gatekeepers will ask how they made it so early. They died for Allah and they did not have any wealth to be asked about. They will enter Jannah 500 years before the rich. The level in Jannah is not linked with when you get in Jannah.
Jannah is not a payment for your actions, whatever we do is not even worth an inch of Jannah. No one will enter Jannah based on deeds, not even Rasul Allah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam, except through the Mercy of Allah.
Al Houri: In Jannah everyone will get what they want, maximum enjoyment, nothing that we could request would make us happier.
Your wife in Dunyaa will be your wife in al Akhira.
So, what if husband died and wife remarries? There are two opinions:
1. Wife will get to choose
2. Wife will marry her last husband (stronger opinion)
Abu Darda narrated that the wife would marry her last husband.
You will not be able to imagine it
…‘what no eye has seen nor any ear has heard nor any human mind has realised (nor it has occurred to any human heart).’
[Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmidhi and ibn Majah]
Beyond imaginations, as our mind is only capable of relating to things we have seen in Dunya.
….End….
