a very interesting article. I think everyone would spend some time as it's dealing with the issue of marriage vs divorce.

“I know that I am 25 years old. But what is the point of marrying if I am going to be divorced,” said Zamzam apprehensively, “I rather remain single instead of becoming a single mother with children tugging at my hum”
“Why will you become a single mother?” interrupted a worried voice which was coming from the other end of the telephone line.
“Men are failing to be proper husbands,” Zamzam retorted anxiously.
“Marriage is a like a prize draw, you do not know what you will get,” the voice replied comfortingly.
“Grandma, tell that to my three friends. They were all married and divorced. Here, in London, unlike Somalia, marriage has been turned into revolving-door relationship,” said Zamzam in a state of hopelessness and with an apathetic voice.
“You know, in our culture, a great value is placed on women to bear children,” the voice responded quickly.
“What is the point of creating a dysfunctional family?” enquired Zamzam despondently.

It's a crisis in society no doubt!
Sometimes I wonder who is more at fault and sometimes I think it's the men.
But then sometimes I think it's the girls too because they are infatuated with thugs. And then you wonder why the addict won't take care of your babies?
Were you supposed to magically change what you married on your wedding night?

Divorce is the new ch!t and I love it.....there's so many experience garoobs lose all over my ends who help a brotha in dire strait, it's unbe-weavable. we need to have a national garoob day in appreciation or something, how can something so bad be soo good?, I guess that's one of life mystery questions that will never be solved and debated in somali philosiphy class.

waxaas waa laga baxey ina adeer, dhag iyo dhuun baa ii duran and my favorite cartoon characters with bling-bling/slang slogan are always sported on my chest not to mention a fresh R.I.P hebel-hebel that was gunned down somwhere in the city every week etc.

here in the western atmpshere both men and women are losin tracks
with the new found freedom somali women aint what they use to be
bak in they females use to be the backbone of the family, they are the ones who use raise kids..but the new generation is self centered , BET/MTV worshippin good for nothing spoiled brats piece of worthless shiiiiit
as for men the once proud bread winner have been reduced to either:
coffee shop dewller
mafrash frquent flyer
drug addicts
thug wanabe punks
FUK BOTH GENDER BLUD
