In the outskirts of Belet Weyne, a place called Muqa Koray, a lonely American geologist was conducting survey when he encountered with a rowdy camel herding Xawaadle youngster, after a brief verbal exchange (miscommunication) a fight ensued which resulted the Xawaadle kid stabbing and kiling the American man.

Police from the town of Belet Weyne were alerted and the kid was arrested.

Members from his subclan (specifically Ali Madaxweyne) came to the police station demanding the release of the kid.

Elders: Who arrested this kid?

Head of Police: I did

Elders: And who are you?

HoP: I am the head of the police

Elders: No, what we mean is, are you related to the deceased?

HoP: No, of course not, the deceased is an American man

Elders: Then why is the kid in your custody?

HoP: Because he has to serve justice

Elders: Listen you fool, this incident has nothing to do with you and your so-called justice. This is between Cali Madaxweyne and America (thinking America is another clan) if American demands blood money for their man, we are ready to settle it with them, and if they forgive it, then it will go into our books as a favor we will return to America one day, so, you have no say in this regard and we suggest you release the kid immediately.

Reminds me of the Xawaadle-German thing and the DHulbahante-British thing.
