the verve? chilli peppers ? come on man, i know these bands, i like them too, i followed them since the 90's, but they can't be compared to U2. not even close.

U2 does appeal to many more people then RHCP. I'll give you that

screw if you think that's a decent cover of 'with or without you' than you're a phony sxb, you're not a real U2 fan. I'm amazed at this group's ability of making this hit sound so dull and amateurish. you should be furious about this.


U2 is a great band and I like Bono, but it's not my favorite group.

U2 is a great Band I agree. Some of their classic songs such as Sunday Bloody Sunday, Beautiful Day, and Where the streets have no names, will be remembered for ever. Personally, I think that they are past their prime. Bono’s voice is becoming aged and he lacks some of the energy he had before and also he has fails to keep with fast base music, especially on the Song, “The Saints are coming” it is very obvious Billi Joe had waay more energy than Bono. My favorite U2 album will forever remain Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby.

I agree the red chilli peppers cant be compared with U2. But The Police, and Deathcab for cutie ( even though they are more alternative rock) can hold their own against U2.
