WALLAHI that flag is lovely, lil problem though, the blue part is bit too dark.

These people can't even get the colour of somali flag right. It should be sky blue not navy blue.

Jr, the light-blue star is our Somali flag, but more depicts a sailing boat on the sea, and the yellow is the flicker the setting of the sun emits.

The flag is about land, tradition and history while still being an appendage to the Somalia's beloved flag. We haven't abandoned our beloved flag of Somalia like the Iidoors and MJs did, but more so we portray ourselves being the ocean of our flag.

This is similar to Ogaden flag. They haven't abandoned the five star Somali flag. It is in the middle. By contrast, the Makhir flag depicts the Somali flag as the sea, the level surface of which a sailing boat is on. Historically, Warsans have been the main tribe manning the dhows that ply between Aden and Somalia. Lovely flag as Fah1223 described.
