Do this so that they can be aware of the situation in somalia, this is what i have sent to atleast 10 MEP's.

Situation in Somalia worse than that of Darfur??

It seems as if the whole world has just given up on somalia and the helpless somali people.
The truth is that Somalia was last year invaded by Ethiopia, with the support of the Bush administration to flush out the Islamic Government that had 6 months of power in the capital city.
I am not defending the Islamic courts that took power but i am worried about the normal Somalis that suffer from reckless attacks of Ethiopian forces that are currently battling the Islamic courts that are conducting a guerrilla warfare.
I just wish that you can have the time to look into this situation and read about it on the Internet.
At the moment there are 1.4 million Somalis on the verge of famine, without food, water or shelter.
Could u please at least look into why the united nations and the international community are so quiet abt the escalating situation in Somalia but they are so loud abt the situation in sudan, even though the humanitarian situation in Somalia is the worse in Africa and probably the worse in the world.
Could u also ask yourself why Ethiopia invaded Somalia--what happened to international law.
Maybe you just might be asking urself what does the situation in Somalia have to do with a yourself.
Well in UK there is a small significant somali population that have their relatives back in somali dying because of the reckless bush administration's efforts in somalia.

Nobody is gonna take seriously a paper full of grammer and spelling errors. They will think you are a kid, ignorant or stupid. If you gonna write something to someone in office, take sometime to edit it and make it professional and clear. don't write it, like you posting it on Somalinet.

I wish i was a man cos if i was i would have been in somalia now fighting for the rights of my people, all somali men that sit at home and do shiit should cut their balls of and just put on make ups, cos they are good for nothing, how could they sit and watch habesh kill women and children, they should atleast send money or talk abt whats happening or send letters like you Kramer.

You know writing this emails and discussing this issue did alot. Last week I posted a topic after 80 ppl were killed, and we send alot of letters and emails and we organized demonstrations, There were demonstration against Ethiopia and TFG in Minneapolis, London, Ohio, Toronto. Its better then sitting down and doing nothing.

I was thinking abt contacting Oprah winfrey, since she is African American so she might care abt whats happening more in africa than a white person, plus she spent around 40 million of her own money in helping africa, but to contact her requires having an american address and i am a UK resident.

If Oprah invited me to her show, walahi i would talk serious to the American people to tell them what the Bush administration is doing to the poorest part of africa.
I would tell Oprah and the American people that George bush is funding dictator meles to commit genocide against the somali people and in the end of my talk i would finish by saying "Yes kanya west was right by saying George bush hates black people.

Plus i would tell the world how the Bush administartion worked along with the same warlords that killed 18 american marines to try and stop the UIC.

i know amercians as a whole don't give a flying fock about somalis, the thing you need to figure out about the media is they cover stories that sell and attract attention, do you remember how much iraq was on during its peak, you will be lucky to see more than 5 mins a month on it now. Oprah might have an influence in america, but she doesn't hold much weight anywhere else.

That is true but what you need to understand is if Oprah was to invite galia (which I hope she will one day) few people will watch that. Then someone else will pick on that story and it will be news everywhere. 5 minutes about somalia in all major networks is all we need.

As for galia she will be everywhere in the UK and who else to represent this issue other than galia. She will be in Sky, BBC and Channel 4 which is what we need.

PS: Galia write to these channels and ask for an interview with John Snow.

Leila2007 thank you, walahi ur a smart sister that understands the power and influence Oprah holds in the American and international media.

If i get that chance, walahi my mouth will not stop spitting out the truth, i will just expose the Bush Administration and show the world what they really are--nothing but worms.

I would jump on the mic and tell the truth nothing but the Truth, i will tell the world that 1.4 million of my people are on the verge on famine thanks to the Bush administration, i will show the world what America really does and thats attacking the most poor and defenseless people on this world while they call themselves superpower.

Somalia will roar with my words, while the west is exposed as nothing but liars that preach democracy when infact they are hypocrites that support dictators such as meles to invade another country and commit mass genocide on the somali people.
