200 Somalis Released from Turkish Prisons By President Darma

President AbdiNur Darman of the Somali Republic helped secure the release of 200 Somali prisoners (consisting mainly of men, women and children) from Turkish prisons on a state visit to Turkey. The Somali prisoners were being held in Turkish prisons for many months after being arrested arrested for trying to illegally immigrate to Greece. President Darman met with Turkish Premier Erdogan to discuss the plight of the Somali prisoners The Turkish Premier stated the Turkish government would allow the Somalis to stay in Turkey indefinitely or be allowed to be repatriated to Somalia.

A Somali prisoner, Amina Macalin Ciise, thanked President Darman:

"We are thankful to the Turkish government for freeing us from prison and allowing us to settle in Turkey or to move back to Somalia. God bless President Darman for helping secure our release which would have not occured without him."

In other news, President Darman dispatched humanitarian relief to displaced people on the outskirts of Mogadishu on November 22, 2007.

President Darman continues his worldwide tour to help improve life for Somalis both inside the nation and those overseas.

When was the last time did a Somali government free Somali prisoners in foreign jails ?

Freeing Somali citizens from the horrible prisons is very honorable.

President Darman has condemned the actions of the fake institution claiming to be the government, the TFG as a foreign hatched entity formed by two of Somalia's enemies in a foreign capital's sports arena.

There is only 1 Somali President who was elected inside Somalia in the capital, President Abdinur Darman.
