Investments in Somalia

Do any of you guys or your families have investments in Somalia. Businesses or anything of that sort.

If yes what are they?

What do you guys think would be a good investment to make in Somalia, other then starting a Hawalad.

i actually thought about the fishing industry, its not bad. but there are lots of other areas where investing even a little bit of money will make you rich, b/c lets be honest, we all do this to get rich. i can name about 10 different companies and/or areas all based in Somalia that can make you rich in as little as 4-5 years, but i haven't moved on it so please don't ask what they are, you'll know soon.

Currently investing in Hobyo .. in regards to shippin and fishing.

My Abtis had a fishing business in Kismayo until a couple of years ago. They would sometimes stay at Sea for weeks at a time. However they cashed out and started something else in Uganda where the Somali business community is strong

Unfortunately business in Somalia is just too risky, to attract the best businessmen.

Importing commodities and fresh foods from india or the uae to somalia would be a good idea. Somalis only eat camel meat and milk and bananas, they must get tired of that
