Thank GOD education industry in s/land booms, and touches the highest peak so far in the history. It is remarkable and auspicious event. It is an era of education.
Education are your investment for better life, education is one of the most necessary thing that people needs while they are living. Where there is no education is like a dark and where there is education is like light. True education is training of both the head and the heart. Education refers to both formal and informal. Education is ought to teach us not only how to make a living but also how to live. Continuous positive education leads to positive thinking. We don’t need more academic education; we need more value-based education. Intellectual education influences the head and value-based education influences the hearts, in fact education that does not train the heart can be dangerous.Education that builds fundamental traits of character such as honesty, compassion is absolutely essential. Knowledge is information and it becomes power when it is acted upon. Educated persons are those who choose wisely and courageously under any circumstance.
Ignorance means you are clueless. You don’t know what other people believes, how they feel or what they have been through. On the other hand also ignorance is a misery, disease, and sickness.
Thank GOD education industry in s/land booms, and touches the highest peak so far in the history. It is remarkable and auspicious event. It is an era of education. Bonanza of education is a sign of progress and it also indicates and displays the true feeling and passions of the people. Because education is the only recipe we can secure a good development and better live.
Business of education increases throughout Somaliland and touches both rural and urban areas. Because people understands what education is all about, and they also knew the difference between ignorance and education. And every body is busty to become educated person at this point of juncture, today education is like eating. The number of institutes, privates schools, tuition, tutorial, public schools, boarding and dormitory schools, scholarship, distance education, and universities increases and flourishes.
All the different fields of education are also available in our country at this point of time. Such as Islamic studies and other subjects (Science, Arts, IT) and the situation at this present moment is just click and choose you course.
The number of students and pupils also increases tremendously throughout Somaliland over the past couple of years. Students are thronged their campuses and prestigious colleges from dusk to down. The moral of the students is very high, because most of them believe that youth is the period of action. All work and no play. And they want to achieve their aspirations and ambitions in a jiffy way. I personally also find pleasure and feel nostalgia when I see and look students, because my mind recalls the reminiscent of my schooling days, the beautiful days I spent inside the school and university premises. Nay I also remember my schoolmates and the bands we shared the up’s and downs of education age.
Professionals, savvy, pundits, and expert members of our country also comes back from Diaspora to help their people, and they are ready to invest their education, and the future is very promising.
Teaching systems and syllabus of the country also improves, apart from that also all the accessories that propels and facilitates education is available in our country at this present scenario. Fee structure is also reasonable and transport facility to access distant campuses is also available.
The only problem that disappoints the pupils when they finish their education career is the problem of unemployment. Unemployment is one of the major obstacles that face thousands of professional and graduates. Because there are no enough placements, there is no recruitment and there is no good appraisal. But I wish a new revolution will come that will change and reform this hurdle.
All in all let’s catch the future; let’s educate our people to be part of winning teams. Let’s set our careers in the right direction. Let’s nourish our future, let’s move education industry in our country faster ahead, let’s eradicate and dispel ignorance and peasant throughout Somaliland, let our country prosper.

Re: Education industry booms in somaliland Mansh allah
What an outright twisting of facts.
Northwestern Somalia had its highest peak in education in the 1970s when their literacy was in the far above 70%. Today Somaliland region has the lowest literacy rate in Somalia at only 17%. If thats good news then you need to reevaluate yourself.
