Somaliland and Puntland are we actually enemies ?

Post by Sanaagian »

I know puntlanders fly through Hargeisa and Somaliland when going to sweet home Bosaaso or Garowe or Puntland in general later.
Daallo , Djibouti ( now fusion ) often land at Hargeisa Egal
and sometimes puntlanders even stay in the town a couple of days or just at the airport.
Wallahi I think it's ridicoulus we are enemies ...

Hargeisa water sells in Garowe ..
the leaders seem to have no real animosity towards eachother
otherwise Adde Muse would have never found shelter in Ceel Afweyn and later a goverment job in Hargeisa .

what I am trying to say is that both communites seem to work well together in many aspects such as business , travel , diaspora , religion.
puntlanders and somalilanders even help each other as brothers in UAE when waiting for their flights in the airport .
we stay in each others hotels also!

How can Somaliland and Puntland become friends ?
I suggest new reasonable borders and a referendum .
The Isaak parts of Sanaag and Sool is ours
And we let dhulbahante and warsangeli vote who they want to be with.
TFG and Puntland should then in favor recognise Somaliland while Hargeisa signs a memorandom where it declares to reconcile South Somalia
As a good start we should take the notion of federalism a bit higher
recognise and help Galmudug , Jubaland , Asal state ....
I keep thinking of Hobyo as a wonderful start a'la Angola investment group

any other ideas for peace?

You guys are not enemies. You both serve the great Kingdom of Ethiopia. You both are competing each others to show the Master who is better slave.

Puntlanders usually take Damal airlines or the other carriers that go from Dubai to Bosaso/Galkacyo/Garoowe not Daallo, jubba-airways is second most used by puntlanders
