ANY GUITAR PLAYER IN HERE?

Just lil curious. Any one into acoustic guitars in here or oud..I am about to buy my first oud in amazon..so just need lil bit of advice

Nice try dude. Guitar Hero is the kinda shitt u play in the closet. Can't let ur gamer buddies see u playing that shitt. Halo, Splinter Cell and Grand Theft Auto is the only things u can display on youtube if u don't want to mess up ur rep.

Playing Guitar should be fun tho, u gotta be able to read music first I guess. And I don't. I think Megatron does play guitar and he'll be the person to talk to for advice.

I used to like playing on the old guitar here, my pops knew how to play it...so surprised too that he could play

but I forgot anything I learned in terms of music, just like listening to a good performance...

You actaully don't have to read music (I don't) to play. You just need to learn the basic chords, and put em together to play a song. There's a MILLION great web sites that offer instruction and advice.

DON'T buy online. Go to a reputable music store, and talk to the guys. Pick their brains, and don't be intimidated. Don't buy crap, but don't go overboard. $250 CDN/U.S should get you something adequate. Make sure it fits comfortably, don't go for a jumbo Western style, they're awkward.
