Is it just me or do other have such divergent tastes in Music

just the other day i was going through my ipod and it struck me how starnge my collection was.

you can find Dead Prez and Jim Jones next to Morris and Minor , Laurent Garnier(house tracks)
and next to something as chesy as Hellogoodby (here in your arms

is this normal?

Same here you'll find Mos Def, Jayz, lil wayne with stevie wonder, Dizzie Rascal ( ), and then Somali singers like Fuad umar and ubax fahmo etc.
