The severe deterioration of the situation in Southern Somalia where the Hawiye are predominant attained already the dimensions of Genocide perpetrated by the clannish thugs of the Abyssinian Tigray Dictator Meles Zenawi.
The Abyssinian invasion of the Somali South before one year was carried out in the hope of possibly containing the diffusion of Islamic extremist ideas and practices thought as propagated and implemented by the then ruling Islamic Courts of Justice. Yet, the abhorrent crimes perpetrated by Zenawi’s Abyssinian racist and criminal thugs risk inflaming the entire country, due to key dimensions that have not yet been properly clarified in the Western mass media.
It is true that some extremist elements were functional among the ruling Islamic Courts of Justice. Following the Abyssinian invasion, these elements have been contained and isolated by nationalist Somalis, who around the great young leader Sharif Sheikh Ahmed launched the Alliance for Re-Liberation of Somalia (ARS). Among the Somali political and military forces currently fighting the Abyssinian thugs there are practically speaking no Islamists.
The prolongation of the Abyssinian soldiers’ presence beyond April – and most critically beyond August – could not herald but disastrous developments; we attested them in the ongoing Resistance of Mogadishu, and the conflict between aggressive Somaliland and peaceful Puntland in the North.
Abyssinian soldiers in Mogadishu may have been an easy solution for the US administration in January 2007, but they turned to be the worst aspect of the Horn of Africa problem - already in September 2007.
‘Ethiopia’ is not a Nation.
The US Horn of Africa specialists failed to understand that Abyssinia – fallaciously re-baptized ‘Ethiopia’ is not a nation. It is a dictatorial realm that represents Africa’s bleakest page of colonialism, barbarism and racism. Within its present borders, the ‘Cemetery of Peoples’ – ‘Ethiopia’ was formed after the military invasions of the Amhara and Tigray Abyssinian kings of the (2nd half of the) 19th and (the 1st half of) the 20th centuries.
During that period, progressively, Oromos, Sidamas, Afars, Kaffas, Shekachos, Ogadenis, Anuak, Agaw, Kunamas, Kambatas, Wolayitas, and other nations were subjugated, and their lands annexed and pitilessly expropriated and given to racist Amhara and Tigray Abyssinian settlers - who have no place beyond the borders of the Amhara and the Tigray provinces.
A systematic multinational genocide was perpetrated mercilessly by the criminal Amhara and Tigray gangsters, who were ordered by their totalitarian and barbaric rulers to consider the invaded peoples as “insects” and their lives as completely worthless. The worst African genocide, as perpetrated by the successive (monarchical, communist and pseudo-republican) Abyssinian administrations, involved mass extermination, massive slavery, and all sorts of brutal policies geared to obliterate the religions, the languages, and the cultures of the invaded and subjugated peoples.
Zenawi’s sent to Somalia tribal thugs, not national armed forces
Racist theories that a new “Nation”, namely the ‘Ethiopian’, would come out of this appalling, inhuman and malodorous butchery of the various Abyssinian Dr. Jekylls, became state dogma, involving the imposition of the alien (to all the subjugated nations) Amharic language as official, and the promotion of the barbaric and heretic beliefs of the Amhara and Tigary debteraw as official religion – branded among ignorant Westerners as “Oriental Christianity” (which is a total lie).
One should therefore understand that the ‘soldiers’ sent by Dictator Zenawi to South Somalia are not of Ogadeni, Oromo, Afar, Sidama, Kaffa, Shekacho, Anuak, Agaw, Kambata or Wolayita origin. The racist Zenawi administration is fully aware of what would have happened, if they had included them; they would have deserted the army, which before killing Somalis murdered their own relatives and compatriots….
The soldiers sent by gangster Zenawi to Somalia are all Amhara or Tigray, and more specifically not Muslim Amhara or Tigray; they represent the ethno-religious group in power, totaling less than 18% of the vast country’s population. They are tribal soldiers – not national armed forces. This the first critical point the US Horn of Africa specialists failed to adequately notice.
The Anti-Somali Historical Hatred of the Amhara and Tigray Abyssinians
The second point hinges on the historical animosity that the Amhara and Tigray Abyssinians have harbored for almost 500 years. The US specialists failed to understand that it would be extremely different, if an Oromia Republic or a Republic of Sidama Land existed, to send Sidama or Oromo soldiers (or any other except the Amhara and Tigray Abyssinian racists) to keep peace in Mogadishu.
The reason is simple; neither the Oromos nor the Ogadenis, the Afars, the Sidamas, the Kaffa, the Shekachos, the Anuaks, the Agaws, the Kambatas and the Wolayitas harbored animosity against the Somalis (and vice versa); actually the Ogadenis are Somalis subjugated by the Abyssinians, as the departing British colonials decided in the late 1940s and the early 1950s to make another ‘present’ to the cannibalistic, Amhara pseudo-king Haile Selassie.
The particularity of the Anti-Somali Amhara and Tigray animosity is due the Somali victorious invasion of Abyssinia before almost 500 years, a dramatic event of the Horn of Africa, when King Ahmed bin Ibrahim destroyed the Abyssinian capital and was obliged to withdraw only because of the Portuguese superiority in firearms. The historical shame of the Abyssinian king Dawit II (also known as Lebna Dengel), caught prisoner of the Somali King, haunts until today the racist Abyssinians. The subject is extremely vast as it plays critical role in the educational system of the Abyssinian primary and secondary schools. For centuries the Abyssinians have vowed to revenge, without of course being ever able to do so, as the Amharas are outnumbered and overshadowed by the Somalis.
The colonial presence of Italians, French and British in the Horn of Africa triggered the Amhara colonial expansionism, which was a necessity of the British Anti-Italian, Anti-French and Anti-Catholic policy in Africa. The end of colonialism throughout Africa unfortunately did not apply for the various colonized nations of Abyssinia, and even worse, the British contributed to the continuation of the colonial regime in Ogaden, by transferring it to the bloody hands of Cannibal Haile Selassie.
‘Ethiopian’ soldiers shoot Somalis out of pleasure…
Today, an Amhara or Tigray soldier in the streets of Mogadishu shoots out of pleasure for revenge against the descendents of the Somali King Ahmed bin Ibrahim, idiotically and inhumanly thinking that by killing one Somali more this Abyssinian soldier possibly erases the humiliation of Dawit II.
This situation must terminate immediately, and for this reason I call every human being with humanist sensitivity to protest against the inexcusable presence of Zenawi’s thugs of Hatred in Somalia. Every Human Rights activist, every citizen concerned with Freedom, Democracy and Justice, should join forces with the Hawiye Council in the United Kingdom, who issued a few days ago the present Appeal.
This text describes better than any other the inhuman massacres, the criminal practices, the appalling crimes, and the incorrigible attitude carried out by Zenawi’s thugs in South Somalia. We republish the text integrally (http://www.dalkanews.com/news.php?readmore=334), along with the manes of the signatories.
•Call for the Re-Liberation of Somalia!
•Demand the immediate withdrawal of the Abyssinian gangsters – euphemistically called ‘Ethiopian’ ‘army’!
•Ask for the immediate release of Ahmed Dirie Ali, the Spokesman of the Hawiye Traditional and Unity Council, who has been detained incommunicado for more than a month by the Neo-Nazi regime Zenawi!

War Crimes and Grave Violations of Human Rights
We draw the attention of and remind the international community and the responsible Somali traditional and civil society leaders the following mass genocide, destruction homes, properties and businesses, displacement, clan-cleansing and collective punishment of starvation and other grave violations of human rights such as rampant rape, looting, extortion, ransom, shoot-at-sight, throat slitting, unlawful mass arrests and dentations, countless kidnappings, deportations and disappearances of innocent civilian people, etc. committed by the Ethiopian occupation troops and client clannish TFG militias in Mogadishu and elsewhere in Somalia.
Having seen the intentional and indiscriminate artillery bombardments targeted on certain districts of Mogadishu inhabited civilian population which caused mass genocide and displacement of vulnerable people mostly of women, children, elderly, sick, injured, estimated one million by the UN but estimated one and half million by well informed sources in Mogadishu.
Having seen the massive destruction of the homes and businesses and lootings of their entire properties;
Having seen the obstruction of internal and external humanitarian and relief aid from the displaced vulnerable by the Ethiopian troops and the TFG militias in defiance of the UN and other international actors calls to stop such obstruction and collective punishment on the needy population;
Appalled by the irresponsible and ill-will of the TFL leaders and commanders labeling the displaced vulnerable women, children, sick, frail, wounded, poor people as ‘al-qaeda supporters’ or ‘terrorists’ which is extremely malicious intention unprecedented in Somalia and the whole world.
Aggrieved by the premeditated and intentional clan-cleansing carried and still being carried out in Mogadishu which is reminiscent of the Holocaust and Rwandan genocide;
Mindful of the planned murders, kidnappings, unlawful arrests and detentions of the bir-mageydo (those respected and spared from the sword) traditional and religious leaders, elders and attacks on, closing down and muzzling of the Somali local free media (radios, TVs, News agencies)and killing and arbitrary arrests of journalists simply for speaking out or reporting the above described war crimes to the world.
Having in mind these gravest crimes and human rights abuses on the people of Mogadishu and nearby areas which if not quickly stopped and addressed could further poison the situation and jeopardize any reconciliation between the opposing sides and the Somali nation as whole, we appeal:
Appeal
That the international community and responsible Somali leaders (politicians, professional, traditional and religious leaders, women groups, etc.) take urgent steps to intervene in ongoing crimes described above by urging and bearing pressure on the Ethiopian Government and leaders of the Somali transitional entity to stop these crimes forthwith.
That the international community takes urgent and pro-active measures to reach out and provide humanitarian aid to starving displaced people and those equally starving population remaining inside Mogadishu and adjacent regions which emanates from the clan-cleansing and extermination war waged by Ethiopian occupation troops and TFG militias.
That the Ethiopian illegal occupation be put to end and with its troops withdrawn from Somalia immediately to stop the ongoing genocide, destruction and human rights violations.
That the many hundreds if not thousands of innocent civilians illegally detained and languishing in dirty and deadly jails be freed without further delay to save their lives.
That independent international panel constituted and be sent to Mogadishu to investigate the war crimes and gross human rights violations committed by the Ethiopian government. its troops and the TFG entity leaders and militias.
We also call upon the international community and the responsible Somali leaders that the traditional leaders respected and entrusted by the people be given due respect and the freedom they deserve such as freeing from the incommunicado jails Haji Ahmed Dirie Ali, the Spokesman of the Hawiye Traditional and Unity Council, Sheik Ahmed Ali Gees and Hassan Raage Hiraabe – members of the Council and Abdinur Haji Ahmed Diirie Ali son of the Spokesman who assisted the Council, and to stop the hunt of the Council Chairman Haji Xasan Mohamed Haad and other members.
We warn that the hunt of the Bir-mageydo (those respected and spared from the sword) be stopped, not killed or harmed, and their freedom of movement and speech be respected, otherwise that can bring revenge on their counterparts and renew civil war between the Somali society.
That the attacks, killings, injuries, arrests, intimidation of journalists and muzzling, crackdown and closing down of the media be stopped.
That displaced people be allowed and assisted to return to their homes and those lost their and properties be especially assisted.
We appeal to the all the Somali people to unite and defend the destiny of their nationhood, religion, independence and sovereignty.
We call upon the international community and responsible Somali leaders to put serious consultations and agreements between Somalis opposing sides brokered by honest and impartial international actors before any more peace-keeping troops (UN, AU or otherwise) be deployed into Somalia otherwise the opposition will see that the same mistaken policy of favoring and supporting one side of the conflict is still going on.
Lastly, but not the least, we call upon the Somali people wherever they are to refrain from words and deeds that can trigger hostility and another violence or civil war among them.

Re: Hawiye Somalis’ Worldwide Appeal against Neo-Nazi Abyssinian
It is indeed painfull experience for Hawiye and Somali people in general.
Hawiye/Somali people overthrew Somalia's dictator on 26 Jan 1991. 4 months before the Tigre's overthrew Ethiopia's dictator on may 1991.
In Somalia, immediately after the overhrow things fragmented because there was no capable statemen who could lead the rapid changes that occured around that time. Hawiye leadership failed big time, and soon the dictator saw a chance to return to the ruling seat thus further fragmenting and complicating the situation.
From 1991 to 2006, Somalia became fragmented along clan-lines..which created an environment in which warlords, opportunists and criminals could prosper and prolong the fragmentation and mistrust/hatred. This at a time where the Tigre's started to clean their backyard, replace the Derg dictatorship system with their TPLF dictatorship system, and eventually fuel the disintegration and the problem of warlordism and opportunism in Somalia.
These two parallel developments in Ethiopia and Somalia eventually led to the painfull situation of 2007, the Tigre´s that overthrew their dictator later then Hawiye are now in Somalia, raping Hawiye/Somali women, looting Hawiye/Somali property, massacring Hawiye/Somali people while using Hawiye/Somali puppets.
As a people we should learn from these experiences.
The ones who are to blame, non other then the USC-remnants: Qeybdiid, Caato, Muse Suudi, M.dheere, Ali Mahdi, Husein Aideed, Galaal, Bood, Filish etc etc.
Not only have these undesired individuals failed in leading Somalia into modernity after 26 Jan 1991, but they have since then constantly dissapointed the people and ultimately oppressed the people and paved the way for this Ethiopian occupation.
Hawiye/Somali people should draw lessons from the past, in no scenario can we ever support those undesired individuals. And the current Ethiopian occupation has only made it more visible for even the blind ones.
Indeed, this is a moment to reflect on the past and look into the future. Fortunately, the Somali people have seen how incompetent the ones are that call themselves ´representatives´ of the respective Somali groups..so the future looks promising.
