Bullsh.it of a show. Taking the piss out of islam like no tomorrow. Uffffffffffffff jewy channel 4 making a show like this to embarass Muslimeen yet again........i couldnt watch more than 10mins of it......just utterly stupid.....i really believe the african guy with a beard is a FAKE muslim.....

That show is a disgrace. I know the bangladeshi brother, he does the occasional friday sermon at my mosque. As for the black imam, i'm not sure as i cant throw accusations without knowledge, but he could possibly be a sufi, as some of his practices seemed borderline bidca.

Laakin they bought soceitys rejects, who are dieing for a piece of fame, what more do you expect. The white cabbie, ate soo much pork, that he began to resemble a doofar.


Its funny, some of them are really seeking light, others their heart is completley sealed. But the bangladeshi brother was right, in western society they hide death and pain, which makes them forget about death and only live for today. Where as in Islam we are reminded of death, which humbles our soul.

Are u referring 2 Brixton Mosque preacher?. The Arab or Black one?.

I remember a previous documentary in which they lined Brixton Mosque preachers up and started 2 throw random Qs on their faces. They even thought about recording us praying in one of the Eiid prayers (in the "Musala" Al-3iid) outside the mosque, but it rained that day. So, we had 2 move to the nearby leisure centre (they lease it during Eiid days).........

The iman was fine and did explain things in a simple way to galoo who know nothing about Islam .

They went to one of the most affluent cities in the UK what did you expect. I think it is a good thing that muslism can have a show where they tell galoo what islam is all about. I think one of the girls will convert. She looked serious about how she felt with the whole show!

Channel4 has had their lowest ratings this year sinds the start of it's establishments.
It doesn't take a genius to find out why they created this program and waited to broadcast it right at the end of the year.
I hate it when they don't bring scholars or somebody who can really put them in their place, they should have called somebody like Shiekh Khalid Yasin...he'll make them eat their words.

I remember this other show called Sharia TV where they debate about muslim issues.
One time they were in Jerusalem and they brought a "Scholar".
There were christians, jews and muslims present on the panel.
A woman put on to him a question and said "I'm a muslim and my husband was a Jew but he converted to islam so that we could be together eventhough he doesn't really practise it"

Scholar: "Well that makes him a hypocrite"

Lady: "But i told him that has to be done according to Islam"

Scholar: "Well that makes two of you"

Lady: "Even my mother said so"

Scholar: "Well that makes three of you"

Lady: "My father knows about it aswell, are you goin' to tell me he's a hypocrite aswell"?

Scholar: "Like father like daughter"

These are the type of Scholars they put on tv, i understood where he was coming from but i would have loved for him to elaborate more on the issue and give them a reason etc.
Now everybody was just looking at him like he's a rude old man who doesn't have any evidence or reasons to back up his answers.

I thought they were taking the mick as well, but an interesting way to educate the ignorant masses about Islam. It was obvious none of them were really interested in learning about the deen, they all looked like a bunch of freaks that would do anything to be on tv.

@ Cali_Gaab. Sharia TV was not that bad, they used to have good scholars on there as well.

That "make me a muslim" programe is a joke, but the reality is they wont show real shuyuukh on tv.see we are living in a time when a mans ilm is judged by how much he is on prime time tv, or how much he is loved by the people.this is the wrong criteria , we should judge a man by the book and the sunnah.For example that shariah tv programe, they had this woman without hijab and she was called an "islamic scholar".you see that in fact the kufaar seek to mock the shariah, by giving these comedians air time.

As for these so called imaams on this programe, then it is clear that their dawah is not that of muhammad (salalahu aleyhi wasalaam). And Islam is not some toy you can try out for a week, and then decide wether you like it or not.so we need to realise our responsibilty is to deliver the message and leave the hidayah up to Allah.
