Eid mubarak brothers and sisters, and jazzakalahu khair akhi for the video.
And although Eid is a day for rejoicing let us remind ourselves of the words of abu musab al-zarqawi (rahimahuallah) when he said.
"Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes… Rather Eid is for those who openly announced Tawheed
Because Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes… Rather Eid is for those who disbelieved in Shirk and the rivals of Allah
Because Eid is not for the one who wears new clothes… Rather Eid is for those who fought against the allies of Shirk and the rivals of Allah…
And also Shaykh Abu Yayhaa Al-Leebi, hafidhahullah, who said:
“The Muslims have the right to rejoice on this day. But, O Brothers in Iman, how can we be happy? How can we be joyous? How can we be cheerful? How can happiness possibly enter our hearts when we watch our nation being torn apart by the spears of the Mujrimeen, and being slashed by the swords of the Kafireen, in the East and the West?”
May Allah bless us all with a Eid where the prisoners are freed, the Hukm of Allah is reigning our lands, the Muslims are safe from the plots of the Kuffaar, and the Word of Allah is the highest.Ameen
