Why was Somalia often the ONLY country in Africa, that gets attacked by powerful countries?
From its foundation in history, Arabs who at the time were the rulers and traders in that part of the world invaded Somalia. In the 1920's, Europeans invaded Somalia, and it became the ONLY country in Africa a European force used aerial bombing using airplanes, and it took THREE European countries to colonies the Somali territories and divide them up to three parts. The French, Italian, and British. And in the 1990's, the U.S, went there and fought militia, and ONCE AGAIN, Somalia became the ONLY country on Earth that hosted over 35,000 UN troops from 25 countries, and 24,000 US troops. It was more like a war zone, than a peacekeeping operation. And in 2006, it took another US bomber to bomb Somalia. The first AC 130 ever USED in Africa...
Then Ethiopia, Uganda, and now Burundi with the African Union. Somalia now remains of the few countries in the world, that still parts of its land is occupied, Kenya occupies NFD, and Ethipia occupies Ogadenia.
