Kibaki Declared Winner of Kenya's Presidential Elections
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7164890.stm
Kibaki named victor in Kenya vote
BBC breaking news graphic
Kenya's President Mwai Kibaki has won the country's closely-fought election, the Electoral Commission has declared.
The announcement came after opposition leader Raila Odinga accused Mr Kibaki of electoral fraud and called for a full re-assessment of the results.
Mr Odinga had lead since vote counting began, but saw his advantage evaporate as later votes were added.
The count was badly delayed, sparking violence in which several people are reported to have been killed.

20 of kibaki's former strong men and cabinet ministers lost their parliamentary seats and majority of them are highly unlikely to come back to the government coz he (kibaki) can only bring very few BACKas nominated mps. also raila's ODM won more than have of the parliamentary seats which will make it hard for kibaki to run things as he wishes. however even that depends on if the opposition accepts the results anounced by ECK.
if kenya survives this one, i doubt wether there ever will be war in kenya noolasheeda dambe.

Costa,
I think they (kibaki and raila) will sit down and talk on how to run the country together. they did that before didnt they? 2002 comes to mind. collusion is highly unlikely but we are talking about africa where money buys one evrything.

The election was rigged and everyone knows it. How do you get a 115% turnout in a district?
The sad part is its a democratic dictatorship. The president almost has all the power. Parliment and Ministers are useless and the President can pretty much do what ever he likes.
