Black People and Criminal records

Almost every single black person (mainly Jamaicans) have a criminal record. How on earth can anyone help them get a job even when you are in a position to do so.

Walle you must be lucky. I am telling you some companies are ruthless and a driving ban will make them disqualify you. It depends what job/ industry you are in.


But I agree with the attitude bit. My God they are full of it and its like the world owe them something.

I preffer working with cadaan people walahi. They just leave you alone to get on with the job plus biscuits everywhere lol

One more thing is to make sure to say hello to the boss everday and when he is around to look very busy. I even pretend to make important calls to clients loooooooool.

It depends on the neighbourhod that Somalis live in. Those who live in low income, black neighbourhoods are more likely to go to jail. I don't know what Somali parents think when moving their family there and even worse, they don't make an effort to move out once they saved up money.

Criminal records to African Americans and Afro-Carribbeans is a right of passsage. Once they get out, they have street cred and more respect. What kind of thinking is that?

We need to save our Somali brothers from these influences. Families need to start to give a damn or they've lost their sons to a criminal lifestyle.

The problem is NOT about who you are but where you grow up.
White kids , asian kids, black kids and mexican kids in the ghetto all have the same mentality , somali are NO different then anybody else on this Earth !!!

There are many black criminals nowadays. The average black man is expected to go to jail at least once in his lifetime. Talk about a low expectancy. It's not only Afro-Americans waayahaan... Many Somali guys are climbing up that ladder to hell too! LOL

The sad part is, it is really hard for an Xcon to find a job after getting out of prison. On your application, there is a question that goes like this "check yes if you've been convicted of any felony for the past seven years"... Poor guy can't get the job!

That is one I can almost never do. I always go to work pissed off because I don't to be there. lol

ANyway I know a black dude who was in prison for 12 years and now he is a professor at a university. He got his degree while he was in the penn through a program Boston University has with the prison there.
