Three great Somali composers and singers in this clip. Most Somalis know ONLY Hobolada Waaberi but Heegan, which these three greats belong to, was also great.

1. The guy with Timaha Jilicsan is the great nationalist, Allaahu Yarxam, Maxamuud Ciise Timojilic. His great song Arligaygoow couldn't have been more relevant today. He sang the song during the attempted coup in 1978 by Dabadhilifs including Afbiijo. Great song indeed: Listen it here:

2. Magaalo Joog xume is Sugaal Cabdulle who is one of the most talented composers or abwaans in Somalia. Here is one of his songs sang by Xasan Aaadan Samatar. The name of the song is Cindi Nuuriya. One of my all time favorite songs and yes He is HG/Sacad

3. The other guy is Ibraahim Baadil who was also member of the Hobolada Heegan. He is Ogaadeen/Reer Isaaq/Reer Haaruun. He is the older brother of the Cabdi Baadil. One of his most famous songs is Maryan and you can check it here:

Two great singers and a great composer/abwaan. I saw this clip before and it is amazing how these guys are performing professionally.

My favorite part is when Magaalo Joog Xume says"
