If Somalia ever gets past this Dark-ages phase, What form of government would you like to represent your country?
I like a Theocracy, an Islamic state governed by a council of Ulema

Any non-faqash government is good with me.

It isn't up to Somalis to adopt the best form of government that suits them; it's up to America/Europe. That's unless Somalis fight for adopting the best form of government that suits them.

A government run by:

1. Executive Branch - President & PM
2. Golaha Dhaqanka - House of Traditional Leaders
3. Golaha Ulemada - House of Religious Leaders
4. Parliament

True, but who says all Three of the houses have to have actual power, they could just be symbolic to let the people think its a Democracy.

The President may have the real power , but according to the constitution He CAN'T fire the Vice President (!) ... wallee waa raggeedi our politicians.

Better gridlock with everyone participating and agreeing on consensus rather than the 1 strongman solution which breeds resentment and trying to resolve the gridlock by force of arms.

The Traditional Elders and Religious Councils would be advisory and not carry weight. They are sort of like the "referees" incase things get out of control in the Parliament and Executive Branch.

You mean like the traditional elders of Hawiya today not having any real power or influence over the blody Shabaab youth ?

AW I dont think Hawiya have that institution of Elders anymore cause of the italian system pre 1960.
It would be meaningless and artificial if they didn't have power.

Isaaq elders were the founding pillars of our state .
Today they have kind of the same task like the President of Israel ( the man protecting the nuclear codes ) our elders protect the clans from entering politics in a negative way.

Waraabe might be controversal , but the man is extremely bright.
He said our goal is from voting in clansrepresentatives to one day voting purely based on opinion.
We are Insha Allah on that way taking our giant babysteps.

The Shabab are NOT a qabiil based organization and belong to BEESHA GARDHEER. They don't like Odeeyasha Hawiye because the Odeeyal are competitors for power & represent only Hawiye. SHABAB have members from all qabiils.

Trust me , that man Ayrow leader of Shabaab would imediately go after power if his Shabaab emerged victorius tomorrow
