Hmmmm, some other news report I read said it was 40,000 lbs of bombs which took out two houses and a bunch of limes.

These clans just want money... They are awaiting americas withdrawl... When that happens.... There will really be sectarian strife.

Meantime I doubt dropping 40,000 lbs of bombs will win you the "Hearts and Minds" of the Iraqis.

America doesn't care for hearts and minds....

They want Oil contracts and puppet regimes... They have bases all around Iraq and will withdraw enough to save public face.... and still keep the haliburtons and Chevrons happy.

I think this was retaliation of the booby trapped house were five US soldiers died. There hasn't been this kind of bombing since the Blackwater mercenaries were killed in Fallujah.
