Yh, it was eye opening and yet scary somewhat. Especially with Ryan's story where he committed suicide b/c of Online bullying. These kids are so addicted to technology that they are out of touch with so many things. They almost lead an entirely different life online and miss out family and real friends where they actually meet the old fashion way. Its risky and scary for a parent, b/c their kids are easily exposed to so many dangers that they might never know about.

That's why parents are right for restricting their kid's time on the internet. One hour a day tops!

Or is one hour a lil bit too strict? I dunno....

LOL shirib.

Bullying is serious. Like in school when one kids would be bullied by others for being different or what not. In such case, atleast the kid can relief himself from that when he/she comes home. However, the way things are nowadays with technology, with online bullyiing, its happens b/c most of these kids talk to or know the people online from school and familiar neighborhood, so the bullying continues online. They might send disturbing messages to kids that can lead to very sad and fatel endings like killing oneself. It happens.

Shirib,

I bet you've seen pictures of unsuspecting Somali girls made fun of in a horrible way on youtube and various websites. That's a small taste of the kind of online bullying that makes the victims desperate. Online bullying can be worse than normal bullying, because the victim gets no rest, the pictures are on the net 24/7 and people can take a look and comment all the time. The victim can't even run, let alone hide.
