DANGIRL,

Ever since the loss of Heath Ledger, the talented 28 year old cadaan actor from Australia, our hearts go out to you and his family and we grieve for your losses.

I remember he was Mel Gibson's son in 'The Patriot' playing the oldest son. People say he was in Brokeback Mountain too but I cannot say I have seen that movie nor do I intend to so I cannot independently confirm that allegation.

We hope you recover

I don't get it why mourn Heath Ledger? If he wasn't an actor and an ordinary working class person, would you care that much?

I think society glorifies celebrities a lil too much. There are people that die everyday from tragic and more horrific circumstances and their get 5 mins of primetime news but people like Heath Ledger gets unprecendented media coverage.

Very sad world we live in.
