Somali woman in Kenya's parliament!

Post by Lord Diplock »

The opposition party (ODM) has nominated Sofia Abdi Noor as a nominated MP.

Good to see a female MP from our province.

Cabdalle seem to be on a roll, we have a defence minister and now, a female MP!

I think so sxb, she is a well-connected woman and heads a local NGO. I think she is a fine individual and I am expecting alot from her. she will deliver something for us and women folk in particular.

Her and Mr. Faarax Maacaalim are my favourite Somali politicians in Kenya.

I hope she become my local MP in 5 yrs' time God willing.

Diplock,
How many MPs are from NFD? List them for me if you can. Also what happened to the MP who was running in Easleigh? He was here six months ago campaigning. Did he win?

Lord, I don't know Dif, I just remember Habas Wayne cuz we always stopped there before stopping in Wajeer then getting on Kutulo and heading to Mandeera and then crossing the border to Beled-Xaawo.

Trust me King, NFD is desert and Kenyattis can't survive in desert. These people are used to farming and forests. Their body types are not made for deserts and they have no history of it. Besides Somalis aint like them, Somalis are always armed.
