Somalia has been destroyed because we turned away from the Quran. Thats actually a good point.

Disregard warlords and mooryaan the average Somali inside Somalia has become more religous since the war.

I believe that somali people are tired of war after war. They need to be purified from this Qabil mindset and be taught Tawheed and sound Aqeedah. First the warlords brought killing and destruction. Now we have the so called "Shabaab" doing the same. So I pray that Allah guides the Somalis to the Sunnah and the correct understanding and frees them of Qabil and Ignorance. Amiin

Another good point:

Everytime we try to form a new government we try to re-make the July 1, 1960 one or the October 21, 1969 one never a different one. Never an Islami one.

We are never trying to go back to Islam.

At Arta Sheik Omar Farooq suggested an Islamic government and most all declined it.

We are in this mess cause we turned away from the diin, and we aren't going back to it cause no one wants and Islami government.

Its hard to get rid of qabiil mindset when the government is built on FOUR POINT FIVE CLAN SYSTEM, and the leaders are clearly against Islamic rule.

How would an islamic government work? and who would lead it? the obstacles that stop democracy and other forms of government from forming in somalia will also be there against an Islamic government.

Unfortunately, qabil is the backbone of somali culture and not Islam. Qabil is the reason why people survive in Somalia.

I disagree with you on that point. First the most important thing the Somalis need now is not a Islamic Gov., which would be good, but they need Purification. They need to be purified from bid'ah, shirkh, and Qabil. The knowledge of Tawheed and the sunnah must be taught to them first. After the society has been purified from this ignorance than Allah will make everything else easy. you will always here people say they need an Islamic Government. Yes they do need it but we must look at our priorities first. We must teach the people why an Islamic Gov. is needed and they will accept.

I agree, people need to be educated but is FOUR POINT FIVE or Ethiopia gonna do that?

You know A.Yusuf won't be here soon. Inshallah if we as somalis stick to the Deen and follow the sunnah, Allah will give us victory. we must be patient and come with our responsibilities and Allah will bless us.

Wallahi if we as muslims stick to our deen and follow it correctly than inshallah these kuffar won't be staying very soon. That is why Allah says he doesn't change the situation of a people until they change their own situation. We return back to the book of Allah and sunnah of his messenger(saw) with the correct understanding and take ourselves out of ignorance than inshallah victory will be ours just like Allah gave victory to the muslims before.
