TRUTH ABOUT KENYANS ELECTION....

My fellow brothers, sisters and concerned individuals:

It took more than 40yrs to build Kenya. Kenyans have been living peacefully for along time and infact Kenya has been and is still a safe haven for refugees fleeing their country.

Kenya has been different since 27.12.07. Kenyans didn't celebrate christmas, infact the election mood over shadowed xmas. So most Kenyans hoped to enjoy new year in joy and with a new president. Unfortnately new year was NOT celebrated because innocent blood was shed, property looted, destruction on property and living in fear. Kenya mourned!!!

Now all our good reputation has gone to the drain!! But why?

Its all because of elections.

Now the question is, is it the first time we are holding elections? Why is it different this time?

90 percent of Kenyans wanted change and they wanted to be led by someone they chose NOT someone forcing himself to lead them.

To speak the truth violence is very bad, killing your fellow Kenyan is unGodly... God can't allow this to go on!

Destruction of property, looting is equally bad. The economy is being ruined day by day since elections 2007.

All leaders are now advocating for peace, both in the oposition and the government also international bodies. What caused/sparked off the chaos?:-

1. Delay in annoucing presidential elections yet parliamentary and civic results had already
been announced early.
2. Mass rigging by the govt(PNU) which was clearly seen by all Kenyans and international observers
3. ECK's refusal to rectify the anomalies which were clearly pin-pointed by ODM and infact they had credible evidence
4. Ganging up of PNU, ODM-K pressuring ECK to announce the presidential results yet
they clearly new that the process was flawed

What worsened the situation?

1. ECK's refusal to listen ODM's plea, arrogant talk by ECK Chairman, announcing
fraudulent results that Kibaki had won the elections
2. ECK Chairman had been requested not to announce wrong results because the citizens
were angry and annoucing the results will put the country in chaos. The chairman's
remarks were "Am also a Kenyan, I was born on one day and I'll die on one day. If Kenya
burns I'll also burn with it"!!!
3. The manner in which the announcements were made - In a private room, other tv
stations, media, local and Intl observers were locked out and power black out!!. The
announcements were made on the govts TV station(KBC) only.
4. The swearing in ceremony had been arranged prior to the annoucements. It took
20 minutes to swear in the president after it had been announced that he had won. this
is arkward!!! we normally celebrate and congratulate in fact swearing in normally comes much later.
5. Gaging of the media by the govt only a few minutes after the president had been
hurriedly sworn in....
6. The president remained silent locked up in state hse for three days while Kenyans are
killing themselves.... infact all those who lost property and who died are all innocent!!!


Now the biggest problem is that all those Kenyans who voted for ODM are urging the Pentagon not to give up and to let Kibaki lead Kenya.
One Kenyan was quoted saying " Hata waki leta jeshi yote, hata waki tu uua ni sawa lakini hatuta kubali kuongozwa na Kibaki, afadhali aongoze kama tume kufa" Others were holding placards saying ''No Raila no peace"

Now even if ODM agrees to let Kibaki be the president, wananchi most of them ODM supporters will not accept and they'll never support them again.

PNU and ODM-K are now one thing. They are asking Raila to concede defeat yet they know very well Kibaki never won the elections. They are telling Raila to calm his supporters BUT they are forgetting to tell Kibaki to address the nation and openly declare that he won by rigging.

If PNU and Kibaki wants Kenya to be normal again(peace love and unity), they/he should:-
1. Kibaki MUST openly tell Kenyans that the seat of presidency is too sweet and he needs
five more years that's why he had to rig the elections and ask Kenyans to forgive him
NB: Kenyans can easily forgive him once he tells them the truth.
2. Kibaki's refusal to do this will only harden Kenyans and the situation will get out of hand.

NOTE that ODM has three times the number of seats got by PNU. Surely how could have PNU won the elections? What motions will PNU pass in Parliament?

Who is to blame?

Former president Moi. - why? He misled Kibaki,(Moi is now silent and no where to be seen)
Kibaki . Why ? by forcefully taking presidency away from Raila in the open
Kivuitu - why? He was urged not to announce the fraudulent results. He refused. After the damage had already been done thats when he confeses and says the process was flawed and that he was under duress to announce the results by PNU and ODM-K (This was live in KTN news 9pm on 01.01.08). He is now regretting. By the way other ECK commissioners also confessed that the process was flawed.
Honestly speaking the only people who can save Kenya is Raila and Kibaki. They can do this by Kibaki stepping down.....its all in the air people want Raila and thats why they voted for him!!!
Its going to be difficult for Raila to convince his supporters if he is willing to accept anything short of presidency. Some even claim that they had done bookings for Raila's inauguration but now their hopes and dreams have been shuttered.

Kibaki and Raila....speak now!!!
