Do you have any allegiance to your adopted nation?

Seeing as though we happen to have Somalis from all over the world on here, I wanted to know how y'all see yourselves. Do you consider yourself to be a "Somali-(insert adopted nations name)", as a Somali FULLSTOP, or do you not consider yourself to be Somali at all ( you're 100% American/Canadian/British/Swedish etc.)?

i regard myself as a Somalilander national

I'm an American but my anscestors were from Somalia.

Me too Murax. I really don't have any allegiance to Somalia. I see myself as a Canadian.

but i dont have much loyalty to the "Great Satan" :p

i wouldn't try to be in the military or non of that patriot ish, but if obama can pull it off...hell, i could be the President!

I have citizenship in 3 western countries, and 4 by the end of the year. ;)

I have some allegiance to Somalia. I know I have to do what I can to help the people still there, but I have no plans of ever relocating there ( for good). I feel at home here.
