Damn,

You can't get a better view or gauge of the city from that view towards the end of the video. Instead of an isolated building here or there like you see in other city's pictures you get a unbiased panaroma view of the city so people could see. You could even see the Ocean from that view. Easily Somalia's 3rd largest city, and in my humble opinion the most beautiful. I love that green see through water.

Well I know Somalis arn't the best when it comes to Urban planning but that applies more with cities that were built after the civil war by normal shacab or rouge questionable construction companies. The lack of Urban planners, Engineers etc. is why you see neighborhoods in the middle of roads causing gridlock and what not. This will have to be addressed when a real Gov comes one day and sadly I think a lot of bulding structures disaspora communities put their blood, sweat into will have to be demolished as the gridlock etc. will be too much to bear. Kismayo was built before the war by the previous Government, and most of the structures are still intact as there was no '4 month war' in Kismayo. I think this was the classic case of quality vs quantity. You didn't get a lot of footage in comparison to the 5:00 compialiation of shots of one building after the other but you got a good idea of how the city really looks like, as compared to other towns/tuulos in Somalia
