Is the status quo of Somalia, our history?
I mean, before colonialism, there was only clans ruling their own sections of the Horn of Africa....the 1960-1991 period was unique in that Somalis were never all together in one kind of country....
someone school me, cause i think the status quo is the future and our returning to the past..

What does this mean?
"Somalis were never all together in one kind of country"
Somalis have always lived amongst one another, clanship was only used based on a system where they helped one another. Colonization really had no impact on Somalis.

Re: Is the status quo of Somalia, our history?
Somalia is a entity created by the colonialist. However the Somali Nomads have conquered the sedentary peoples of the South which in term had led them to adopt our culture, religion and language. So it was easier for the colonialist to mesh all lands where majority of its inhabitants were already "Somalitized". The future is we the Somalis must depart from our Somalitized neighbors and build our own nations. The Middle East is an example of what Arabization has done to both the levant and North Africa.

Indeed..lets decode it, shall we;
FAH always claims he talks with his granny at home...he knows about Makhiir state, and about Somalis tibal situation...he is born from a mother who's from Makhir state and a father from South Somalia....so for him to blind side us with such pointless story is itself ridiculous.
So yes, I was saying to him: "I am very surprised you are not still of student of who you are, and here you have came from"

I think when Fah sees his parents he sees his FATHER and MOTHER and not the differences in their qabiil.

Who's asking what FAH is feeling!
Remember you accused me of me not reading "what I write"!
Maybe you should take a peek at what this place is becoming, instead of fenting what I say, or write in here, Alluring!

what i mean is, was it a state of all Somalis? or was it a set of individual kingdoms/sultan empires or what, and for specific area like city state or something
*jr, my granny isnt here loool....and my mother never lived in maakhir....
im only questioning the history before colonialization and if the status quo of today with no centralized power and power being in the hands of people who happen to live in their ancestorial area is a return to the past...

I am not taking down my stance, your writing was utter rubbish. I was trying to help you out, perhaps I should have let you continue to fall, as opposed helping you.

Jr,
Grow some nuts, and a brain. Learn to write in proper sentences, get off the internet and read.
